Having just watched part of the show again - one thing kind of jumpted out at me with Jesse - at the end of the mechanical bull - where she notes that Jesse was the winner - they put their arms around each other and both look over at Jeremy. Jesse has said he will do what it takes to get in between Jeremy and D - and boy that was a look for sure that said - the game is on bro.

If Jesse is to be F2, there has to be indicators. I am beginning to think they are going to be a lot more subtle than the "in the face" indicators that we are used to getting like who is the focus of the confrontation in the house or who gets the obvious physical attraction edit. I am thinking they are going to be more like Jessie throwing his bat in anger/frustration when he sees Jeremy get the rose at Dodger Stadium, Jesse making comments about being "the Devil's advocate", and the the remark you noted where Jesse has said he will do what it takes to get in between Jeremy and D ( with ensuing look). The uncouth remark about farting seems to be an indicator as well.

I am now wondering about that remark that Ron made about someone else becomes the villain. In light of those kinds of remarks, could it be Jesse being edited as F2?

It hasn't gone unnoticed that Jesse keeps winning the competitions and I wonder how this plays into his edit and his relationship with the other guys....this is an edit I've not seen before - not for F2, there doesn't seem to be a lick of chemistry between he and Dee.

Shayne was shown as athletic and she won, but Jesse is beginning to look aggressive in his multiple attempts at competiveness. Now, I believe that is perfectly natural given in real life his occupation, but we are unused to seeing that degree of aggression, and we note it unfavorably in a contestant. It basically is a catch 22 for them or a " darned it they do and darned if they don't" type thing. If they don't compete aggressively for the bach/ette, they lose out, but if they do compete aggressively, they lose our favor. Aggression is always viewed as F2 or worse.

Actually a medianet June 3 press release said something to the effect (paraphrasing) that a bachelor is nervous that he will not get a rose after their date but there is "obvious chemistry between the two". ABC is either planting the thought of chemistry where there is none or there actually is chemistry. My thought is that it will be the latter. Time will tell.

we'll see - I tend to believe the former.....I bet they finally kiss and someone decided they have 'it'.....

if he's F2, it would stand to reason that they would have to plant the seed and show us footage that would lead us to believe there is chemistry......everyone kept saying that Matt and Chels had chemistry - I didn't see it, I saw oodles and oodles with Shayne, but nada with Chels...

Yup there are pot-stirrers - yup there are single sighted ones as well - but for the most part I think most folks here are somewhat open minded and willing to at least consider what we see as possibilities or potentials. IMHO there is certain stuff that I am somewhat uncomfortable with - and others may feel the same way - and may not want to post about those things - that is our option - that is what this board is about - a tool to state and discuss our own opinions - that is why I personally enjoy it.

I agree ABC board can be crazy but there is a younger crowd and they were in love with shayne' attire, glasses, makeup, haircolor and it was quickly discovered what clothes she was wearing

It was not really discussed at length the implication of promoting the product more along the lines of where to get the dresses, etc.
I don't see anyone on the boards asking where to get Jesse' stuff.

I think there are a lot of good posters but there always the few that post stuff just to get reactions.

As far as Jess's contract there was an article stating he got money from sponsors when he got airtime or magazine time. That was done prior to the MTV show and more than likely before he ever knew he was going to be on bach. So is it wrong, yes I guess, but was it a calculated move on his part, not necessarily. the part about staying to at least f4 getting an additional $10,000 part, well I need to see some proof, maybe true maybe not

I think those days maybe gone.
The show has so jumped the shark in the last couple seasons, I think the best is yet to come and if it were left up to the edits, screencaps and media clues we would never know the true story behind some of this.
I don't think this season is going to come out smelling like a rose at all. JMO

I'd also like to weigh in on Jesse's sponsorship scenario. Of course TPTB knew of his sponsorships before the show started. They do a series of background checks, etc and it was pretty easy information to find out. Are they getting a cut? Who knows? In terms of Jesse giving the other men some items, I think that's really nice! I have a couple of people in my life that are sponsored by major athletic gear companies. They receive TONS of shirts, shorts, sports bras, socks, sweats, jackets, purses, bags, shoes, whatever you can think of. They are nice enough to share with their friends and family, plus if they didn't they wouldn't have any room to store all of it! I guess what I'm saying is that to me it just makes Jesse a nice guy for bringing some schwag for the guys. That's how I look at it.

If I had to guess I doubt that we will see any sort of confrontation between the guys and Jesse about his sponsorships. Did it happen? Based on some trusted posters, it did. One of whom thought it happened last week, but from what the poster who claims to be Ron said, it did not. I've stayed out of sleuthing for this season, but it certainly seems that many on the board have received some sort of inside information. Who knows if it is all from one source or multiple or if maybe some of the information is not accurate? I don't. There is nothing wrong with doubting some of the inside info, because those without sources don't know it as fact. And for those that do have sources, I'm glad that you are sharing, I don't want to know who your sources are, I just hope that you are confident in what you are posting.
