By that time, I could remember what I read but not where I read it. However, I am sure that is what was said. The poster was saying that Ron specified that Jessie was not questioned about his sponsorship by the guys, but he did give the producers a hard time about the clothes he was wearing; he did say that Jesse was a "brilliant businman", but that Jesse would NOT be forced into doing anything he did not want to do or did not feel passionate about.
The producers did try to make him change his clothes several times with varying success ( or lack of); I thought I understood they put the black tape on and he ripped it off ( maybe the others guys too). What I think I remember was that the other guys to a much, much lesser extent gave the producers a hard time about wearing some of Jesse's clothing as well ( maybe for the kick of it? or Ron indicated he really liked the slogans on some of the shirts, esp, the Home Wrecker - which somebody else got to wear).
The post in question is actually no longer there, but you are pretty much right on Bloomers. The only thing I would add is as I recall the poster said that all of the guys had the back and forth with the producers and their clothing, but it wasn't specific to clothing that Jesse gave them. The poster also said he wished some of Jesse's other shirts had made it to air (I'm thinking it's because they were funny).

I'd also like to weigh in on Jesse's sponsorship scenario. Of course TPTB knew of his sponsorships before the show started. They do a series of background checks, etc and it was pretty easy information to find out. Are they getting a cut? Who knows? In terms of Jesse giving the other men some items, I think that's really nice! I have a couple of people in my life that are sponsored by major athletic gear companies. They receive TONS of shirts, shorts, sports bras, socks, sweats, jackets, purses, bags, shoes, whatever you can think of. They are nice enough to share with their friends and family, plus if they didn't they wouldn't have any room to store all of it! I guess what I'm saying is that to me it just makes Jesse a nice guy for bringing some schwag for the guys. That's how I look at it.

If I had to guess I doubt that we will see any sort of confrontation between the guys and Jesse about his sponsorships. Did it happen? Based on some trusted posters, it did. One of whom thought it happened last week, but from what the poster who claims to be Ron said, it did not. I've stayed out of sleuthing for this season, but it certainly seems that many on the board have received some sort of inside information. Who knows if it is all from one source or multiple or if maybe some of the information is not accurate? I don't. There is nothing wrong with doubting some of the inside info, because those without sources don't know it as fact. And for those that do have sources, I'm glad that you are sharing, I don't want to know who your sources are, I just hope that you are confident in what you are posting.

I actually miss the days when sleuthing was primarily based on screencaps, edits and media clues. Ahhhh....back to my cave to daydream of that.

Thank you for that verification. I knew that I had seen it. There have been some of my posts that have mysteriously disappeared, and I never understood it because I knew there wasn't anything inherently wrong with what I personally posted - maybe I quoted somebody, or maybe I touched on something sensitive w/o knowing it and the post was removed by request of somebody connected with the show?. It may be that the contestant "requested" the post be removed for his best welfare with TPTB?
I am not privy to all of the ins and outs, so I can't say.

"Boys will be boys" and all of that good type stuff....I did take that idea away from reading the post. The guys dealt the producers some fits, simply because they were guys, for a kick, because they were bored from being shut up so long, and because they didn't like being told they couldn't do something - maybe a, b, c, or all of the above.

Jesse was the ringleader.

He had the goods.

I am laughing here because in many ways these guys are just overgrown Middle School aged boys, and that is what I have spent my adult life with.

Edited to add that coupled with what we heard about how the guys trashed the house in one of the Bachelorette series and there was a lawsuit, you can see why the producers would prefer The Bachelor and the ladies w/catfights to the Bachelorette and the men that they can't control regardless of the fact that the fans want to see the guys rather than the girls.

So much animosity for Jesse and yet he is under contract to not speak about the show while others can spread "info" at will, sorry but maybe its all true but I think there has been too much "seed planting" as was said before.

and sorry but some posters just enjoy being in the "know" and proving others wrong, but if everyone is getting their info from the same source how can we be sure its correct?

(good journalist use multiple different sources to confirm stories)

Nothing against any one person, poster, etc.

Just my thoughts from observing this whole rumor whip into a frenzy, there is a lot of not so honest things going on from many sides.

I really don't care about Jesse, I am sure he is going to do just fine and so is the GF in question, both are talented people with tons of opportunities and wonderful times ahead of them and I wish them nothing but happiness,

but I think there has been some major meddling going on and I will be happy to see if the truth evers surfaces

the comparison to Kirsten on Firestone season is apt except we have yet to see the other guys question Jesse's motives

huge difference, Kirsten had issues with the others in the house from day one
Thank you, this is how I feel as well.

Me too! As someone who has no inside info, it's hard to believe everything I read. I'm sure some of it is true, but I try to take it with a grain of salt. I do think some people come here and post info just to wind us up.

The thing is that I highly suspect that there have been inside sources all the way back to the very beginning of the franchise.

I had a fantastic and extremely accurate inside source for Travis's season. I did not know it and have never told it because I knew zero about sleuthing, but I was in a very small private group with a poster who spilled inside info on Jesse before we ever saw the 25 girls get out of the limo. I remember being on the ABC Board on maybe Bob's thread when a poster was talking about being at a Hollywood cocktail party and hearing inside info which turned out to be accurate.
And then of course for several seasons there was that rag, the N E, which gives these ridiculous stories but always and accurately nailed the winner until Charlie's season when he dated the F2 until the live finale.

My point is that there has been inside info for a long time back; it is just more prominent now.

Don't forget that Fleiss has been at this for 15 seasons so I doubt he is about to make concessions for Deanna. She signed a contract and I suspect it was not much different than all the others that preceeded her. He has a format that works and he will follow it.

Her personal goal is to not lead anyone on. Okay. But within the format, that really just means she will not tell anyone that she is falling for them when she has doubts or tell them that 'tomorrow is going to be a good day', in essense.

As far as Jesse being on the show to promote himself, that happens every season in different ways. We saw Shayne last year fall in love, not thinking she would, when her immediate goal was exposure. Love happens.

So Deanna finds out that Jesse is not onboard for her during her hometown date. She knows before it is too late and chooses Jason. No problem. Often the final dates are the deciding factor in the choice with most of them. And how perfect for her. She will not break any hearts.

But the sources for some of the info on jesse seem to be a few articles with some posters believing portions and not believing other portions (such as his cousin nominating him for show)
and plain rumor.

there are posters on here if you go thru post by post they post only about Jesse and contradict themselves as they go, they sort of step into to stir the pot and throw out tidbits of info.

it just seems sort of set up, not that I don't think its sprinkled with truth as well
It was not discussed at length on this board - probably because most of us don't imbibe of the alphabet board because of it's nasty rep and very - how shall I say - erroneous posts - many of which are pure garbage - and/or it was not an issue on this board as it was not thrown in the faces of the posters here.

We all take in alot of info and none of us have any REAL clue what is the truth and what is not - unless the info comes directly from the person involved - and I don't see that happening for the most part. Having said that tho - some info does come thru as very truthful with info to really back it up - but we all believe what we want from each morsal of info we see.

Yup there are pot-stirrers - yup there are single sighted ones as well - but for the most part I think most folks here are somewhat open minded and willing to at least consider what we see as possibilities or potentials. IMHO there is certain stuff that I am somewhat uncomfortable with - and others may feel the same way - and may not want to post about those things - that is our option - that is what this board is about - a tool to state and discuss our own opinions - that is why I personally enjoy it.
