I went and did a little research on him...I think this article has been posted but I don't think anyone can argue his motives to go on the show were for PURE promotional purposes:

I noticed it said his birthday was coming up...so I searched for his bio and sure enough - his birthday is April 3...I wonder if they celebrated this in the house since he was living with De...and if they did - why didn't we see it...wouldn't they want to build his story?

I have also heard that last season's editors were new and they were signed for this season as well...they OBVIOUSLY don't believe in the hidden edit...Shayne was front and center from the get go - much like Jason is this year...Jesse's edit will have to seriously step up this week if he is F1...

Well last season I didn't think Shayne could win with her tanning scene and after that second episode but she did so I'm not really calling the F1 just yet. I would be happy to know that Jason wins but because I would be happy that he could win is weird since my favorite never wins so it makes it hard to believe for me that he wins.

Briefly coming out of lurkdom to ask how we know Jesse's edit will "take a hit" this week? If it's from one of the guys in the house that has spoken to another poster I don't know that they would know how the episode would be edited.

Really? I actually think Jason is getting the F1 edit and will continue to throughout the season just like Shayne.. and now if they have new editors that edited last season and this season, I can see them editing this season the same way. Same thing for F2, Chelsea was shown so little for the first few episodes but then was shown alot more later on and I feel Jesse may get that same edit. But maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part.

You know, I didn't see anything in the article to lead me to disbelieve Jesse when he spoke with Dee about being ready for a family and marriage.

However, if he went into this for promotional reasons, and Dee never found out about that until after the show aired, she would be really upset with him I'm sure. That is a little like cheating behind her back, and she was already betrayed once. So, for his sake - I hope he either has a clean slate or comes clean to Dee before the show ends. He seems sincere to me, and they are not giving him a snake edit so ....

I think I missed that part about the hit Jesse's edit will take this week too...it seems like in the commercial, Jeremy is once again taking the hit with his *getting too much attention from DeAnna* causing jealousy.

I wondered the same thing. Too much sponsor t shirts w Jessie, and weren't going to give him any more free advertising than necessary. So just not going to show him any sooner than they have to,in sponsor gear.

Even though I am leaning toward, and there is alot of evidence that Jason is F1, I'm still not ruling out Jesse at F1. If the rumors are true that the guys comfront Jesse about his sponsorship. I don't see how DeAnna doesn't find out. Either he comes clean to her, it leak out or she knew before the show started that some of the guys may have other agendas and she was OK with it. (Lets face it because of her experience with B11 she already knew people go on the show for other reasons). Jesse might have had dual reasons for doing the show. Do a little advertising and to meet her. Maybe in the process love developed who knows . He may still be getting, as I like to say, hide in plain sight edit and so far I do think we see alot of him, just no chemistry scenes as of yet with DeAnna. We just don't get many screencaps down the road. We just get enough of them to show that he is one of the last two standing and that there is some chemistry developing.
