Jesse is a competitor. In essence, this is a competition among 25 guys, and DeAnna is the coveted prize.

Most certainly not just Jesse's attitude in this thing, but most assuredly Jesse's given what we are being told of Jesse. If Jesse saw DeAnna in a crowd, would he have any desire to get to meet her? Jesse is around snow bunnies or whatever they call the groupies in his sport. He is used to female attention, and it is not like he hasn't had access to women before. All of this together makes me suspicious of Jesse.

I absolutely believe the talk of self promotion. Jesse has said several times in other interviews that he wants to move into television. Back in March he referred to a pending reality tv show gig he was working on, which I believe is the Bachelorette, in a local Breck paper. In one of his interviews about the Made tv program, the girl that he coached jokingly mentioned that he yelled at her for not holding her snowboard with the logo showing because he and his sponsors don't make any money unless it is showing on air. Later he said in an interview that he got paid by his sponsors everytime he appeared on network tv. He had every incentive then to do what he had to do to keep himself on this show.

My biggest issue is that I am just having a hard time believing the things Jesse himself says. Last week on the show when Deanna asked him if he would move, he said yes. However I have seen and read interviews with him where he talks about how much he LOVES Breckenridge and how it is home to him now. He is a not only a pro snowboarder but a certified instructor. I just didn't believe him when he said he would love to move because that contradicts all of the things he has said in interviews about Breckenridge. I saw him on Made and he is a fun loving party boy (although I know he is very business minded as well. I am in no way denigrating his entrepeneurial spirit). I just find it hard to believe that a 25 year old pro snowboarder is interested in settling down. Further even if he was, I am hard pressed to believe that Deanna is his type of girl. I like her a lot but do not think most would describe her as a laid back free spirited snowboarder chick type.

In one of those interviews, the girl he was training alluded to them getting interrupted during practice because someone that he knew or they knew him got him sidetracked constantly. This is a guy that is well known on those slopes & I find it very hard for him to just leave that attention stage. He may eventually could to an extent be able run some things from GA, but he would still have to be gone for product endorsements, advertisements, meetings, hob nob parties, etc etc. Distancing himself from the very area that promotes the sport doesn't make sense. I just don't think he'd be able to pick up & move immediately to be with Dee while getting to know one another....a time that is so crucial for them. I have a feeling that he probably thinks that he'll be able to convince her to move to CO once it's all said & done. Anotherwords, he's not worried about it & only told her he would move to GA to let her hear what she wanted to hear & that way it will keep him in the game.

& on the other side, I lived close to snow skiing several years ago when I was Jesse's age & skied quite a bit. This is a sport that the snowy setting alone makes it one of those unique venues for creating a lovely fantasy type atmosphere for meeting a person.....a setting for the whole fashionable ski bunny looking for guys & vice versa.

I personally wouldn't feel comfortable having a personable boyfriend/financee/husband such as Jesse that is very popular & front & center around that type of atmosphere when you have all sorts of female's lurking. As far as he's advanced...he's really in the entertainment business so to speak & we all know some of the more unsavory enticements that industry can create for couples. You only have to look at the # of breakups weekly on the internet.

Here's a thought... and I haven't kept up with the veracity of the Jesse/girlfriend thing, but thought I read that she was connected to Zero. This Zero black tee with block letters reading "DO WORK" - that Jesse promoted on MTV's "Made" - is eerily similar to the one Ron was wearing that read "HOME WRECKER". Maybe the ex gave it to Jesse and Jesse gave it to Ron.??

And my sister just informed me that it's not Ron who's wearing it, it's Brian. That's directly from the horse's mouth. I don't have the episode anymore to check, but she spoke to Ron via email.

Not that it makes a difference, the HOME WRECKER tee is a ZERO tee, Jesse's "sponsor" - and must have been given away by Jesse. I wonder if Brian will get any residuals...lol

I've also see the "DO WORK" tee on the show as well, only it's black on white instead of white on black. The "Zero" logo is prominently displayed on the lower right as he turns around. However, during the Dodgers date - TPTB blurred whatever was on his shirt.


I guess with these rumors of his ex being married, I can understand why he gave away that particular garment...lol

I think there is some nugget of truth to the rumor but that its been blown out of proportion, I think he may have had a "fling" with this person but not a relationship and they probably knew he was doing this show, the break up during the show seems unlikely, regardless no doubt he is on show for exposure and possibly he had a recent relationship, the question is did he actually fall for D? maybe?

I am going to wait and see. I think Deanna would be happy to move to Colorado and help him with his businesses and maybe have a second home in GA when they get financially secure, but could be sticky situation if he did have a fling with one of his sponsors, but that is all rumor and conjecture

who knows? just have to watch with an open mind for now

Hopefully, he didn't have even a "fling" with her while she was married. It is hard not to sit in judgment if I put myself in the shoes of the one being cheated on. Ouch!
