It is clear that Jesse came on this show to promote himself but nothing says he cannot find love in the process, Shayne did. I think most contestants on reality shows want exposure to help them with their careers. It makes total sense. Love happens and you just never know how or when.

While I was out surfing the net I found 2 acticles about Jesse. Hoping that I am putting these in the right place.

I don't think it is clear he came on he to promote himself. I have a competitive snowboard racer in my house and he has all sorts of free things (shirts, hats, etc) and not a professional and is not sponsered by anyone. It is the nature of the profession/sport. I hardly have to buy any shirts for him. The more the names brands can get out the more free things are available. However, getting endorsements is how you get paid, get free stuff to help pay expenses etc. Snowboarding is expensive.

I think he may have been recruited to come on, but as De said she had a hand in the selection process and maybe she is attracted to him. Only time will tell who is the one, but don't make assumptions about promoting. I think in a since they all get to promote them selves in someway. I think he is enjoyable to watch & love his individuality.

Looks like he likes guy shows...though I love the Deadliest Catch.

What makes me think Jesse may be the F1 is actually from what DD said.

Before the show: In one her interviews she stated she was looking for tall, dark and handsome.

After the show: She said (something to effect) that what she thought was her ideal man really wasn't.

I think she really found out alot about herself on the show and that could put Jesse in F1 position.

I agree with you on this. Right now, my working theory is that Jesse is the F1, but they don't get engaged, however, decide to continue a relationship and see where it leads.

My opinion could change after I see more episodes, but this is the way I'm leaning right now.

I am liking Jesse more every week. So i wouldn't really have a problem with him being F1, although I would much rather it be Jason. I am looking forward to seeing if they show Ty anymore on the show because that is where my problem is with how this turns out. If she didn't pick Jason then why not just let him mention or talk about the fact that he has a son instead of actually showing him. I don't really know how to explain what I am trying to say, but I just don't understand them showing his son so much and then not being F1. Just afraid if this happens it is going to leave me with a really bad feeling about this whole process. I don't know, it's kinda like exploiting the whole situation for no reason.
