Is it just me, or do we not have a single screencap of DeAnna and Jesse kissing??? I know there's the ocean hug screencap, but I don't believe they are kissing in that scene, Jesse's head seems to be turned to our right...

Below are my friends thoughts

I think knowing that DeAnna takes Jessie to the final two bothers me. Jessie did the MTV gig with the girl teaching her to snowboard. That is all well and good working with young people but he also got paid for his work and claims he earned a years worth of pay in those 5 or 6 weeks with MTV. Not sure how much he earns teaching snowboarding but it is not year round employment in Colorado. Maybe that is why he spend summers in other places

I wonder how DeAnna would feel if she picked Jessie and then found out that he had a sponser that was going to pay him money if he made it to a certain point on the show. It is sort of guys betting another guy to get him to try to get a date with a girl. He wins the money if he gets the date. This show is not just a dating thing but a potential engagement. He is now doing commercials and apparently The Bachelorette is not the only potential reality TV type of show he is looking into.

Do you notice he wears a certain type of hat and sunglasses on his head even at night. Wouldn't be surprised he is promoting that for someone. Today they were also writing about his strange way of dressing down at RC to stand out in the crowd. Last night all of the men were in dress shirt and ties and he is wearing a tee shirt and jacket.

Yes, if you look back many threads ago, this has been a topic of discussion for a while.

I just had the opportunity to watch this last episode, I know better late than never... I thought it was so sweet when Jesse said that he wants to be the dad that his kids friends want to hang out with. Reminded me of my Dad, all my friends just loved him because he truly enjoyed their company. I like Jesse, he seems real and I think spending time with him would be spontaneous exciting and very interesting.

There is another way to look at it, too.
This is a kid whose dad made a huge impact upon him. He traveled most of Jesse's youth in order to support his family. Because of this, he sacrificed quality time with Jesse and his family.
Jesse has a great skill. He realizes it has a small window of opportunity. He realizes with sharp business accumen he can make the most of it, in order not to have to travel and be away from his family, as his father did.
Sometimes, especially at a young age(25), you become so focused, you fail to realize that maybe there are times you can take a break.
Who knows--maybe Jesse felt he didn't need to take a break from sponsorship deals during his time on TB. Maybe he didn't think about it at all, but I bet he did.
DeDe is used to working hard to make real estate deals. Sometimes you have to sacrifice a lot in order to make it work. I think she might be more understanding of Jesse's motivation with his business and sponsorships, than what we give her credit for. I wouldn't be surprised if part of Jesse's unique choice in attire was a topic of convo sometime along their dating process.

Not necessarily a Brad look-a-like, but someone who fit the "traditionally handsome" mold with a more "traditional" personality to match. I can definitely see pajamasam's point. Being completely real, I would venture that most people would expect De to be going after Graham and Jeremy as they seem to fit what many believe to be the type of guy she wants. This is why some folks are on the verge of hysterics over the fact that it "appears" that she picks neither. On the surface, Jesse doesn't seem to be her type in terms of looks, personality, lifestyle, etc. As pajamasam said, had they met casually in real life, it is possible that their initial, superficial impressions of each other would have prevented them from pursuing any kind of relationship. The setup of the show in a way forces them to interact, and now we're seeing (and they probably saw) that there might be a lot more commonalities than one would have assumed at first glance.

It kind of makes me think of Trista, in the sense that I don't know if Ryan would have caught her eye out in the real world because he was so opposite from what she seemed to be about at the time (pursuing that Hollywood career and the flashy L.A. lifestyle). I guess the show is nice in that way, in that it can show that what is really good for you might be completely different from what you imagined.

The thing is though moving to Georgia...if he continues a future in winter sports such as snowboarding & connects his name to such endeavors......he will have to travel to promote it.

I read that Jesse's Dad gave him $10,000 for a down payment on a house, in Breckenridge. I don't think Jesse's family is financially wealthy, but they have supported Jesse in his decisions. I think he is a successful entrepreneur, and has looked further than snowboarding for his financail future. He has a lot of spunk, and I think Dee sees qualities in him that are hidden due to editing.
