It was not, in any way, decent of him to break up by text message , if in fact that actually happened. The ABC board is notorious for being incorrect most of the time. If he broke up with a woman before she went on the show , she could be trying to spread malicious gossip out of anger.

The posted rumor that I read was found on the TWoP boards, and I agree about Jesse probably falling in love with DeAnna. I think perhaps that it is possible on a fast moving schedule to be swept along. Sometimes, there isn't time to think clearly let alone remember that you no longer have the same feelings for the girl back home. He may have thought that he would be let go at some point, and then if he was no longer in love with that girlfriend, he would be able to break up in a more proper way.

My suggestion earlier was that perhaps if he made it to the F2, he disclosed the info about a girlfriend waiting for him to abc people, and they may have allowed him to text rather then call. It would be hard for his handler to monitor a phone call (such a private, personal matter), an email might be able to convey it better, but there is no guarantee that she would read it in a timely manner. Text'ing gets rid of the problem very quickly, my guess is that Jesse was advised to text by his handler. (if the rumor is true).

I cannot put much weight on this rumor. For one thing, the players are just too unbelievable and I don't believe Jesse text anyone during the show. It is one of those icky rumors that people start to get back at someone and is better disregarded.

I can see him being an entertaining and interesting person, but I don't see him as a real contender.

Ordinarily, I would agree with you on that immediately jelle but if you go back and read Estelle's copy of the rumor, post #45; I think you'll read it wasn't done in a malicious way. The wording was not done with anger or malice, as I recall. So, I am not discounting it entirely; but I am being cautious regarding it (the usual take it with a grain of salt).

Every season there are rumors some true, some not - regardless, it will probably not come into play during the show unless Jesse admits it to DeAnna. So, if it doesn't appear on my screen, it is inadmissible as far as I am concerned.

I like this look. I think it is flattering to his facial features as it accents his eyes which are actually quite nice and puts less emphasis on the mid section of his face. The clothes are neat, attractive and appealing. I believe that upon meeting him for the first time with this look, I would be immediately ready to hear what he has to say ( good for his business or as a possible future in-law!) rather than to be focused upon how unusual he appears.

I guess I'm weird. I like the unusual look. I also like those who stay outside of the box and are diverse in their thinking and actions. Maybe that's why I feel the need to stick up for Jesse. At least he's not fake, not cookie-cutter perfect (though that's never the true case) and is comfortable in his own skin.

I do understand, appreciate, and respect your reasoning on those who are more individualistic by nature in their approach to life. However, it is perhaps regrettable but true that most often first impressions due tend to be extremely influential in how we tend to view people. The others for the most part are sharply and nattily dressed. There is a wide, wide range in the way that the audience will view Jesse. Depending on how conservative the viewer is, Jesse may come across as somewhat clownish in his appearance compared to the other men.
I highly suspect that Jesse is going to be one of the most controversial people discussed on the boards on Monday night and Tuesday. It will not take long to decipher how the majority of the audience views Jesse's unusual look!
