The big deal is the lie he told her - he has never referred to having any present g/f in any of their talks - he has stated his EX g/f - if he comes to the show with a g/f - that is a down right out and out lie.

I think he didn't even believe he would last that long and didn't expect to fall in love. He even told her that during their date....
I guess he is in a situation he didn't even think he would be in, and I don't think he'll open up in front of 10 million viewers...it's a difficult situation...I would be terrified in his place
if DeAnna loves him and pick him , she will understand...if she doesn't she will dump him...but that's something between De and Jesse...it's their lives...
Ok,it's true he didn't take the show seriously, he didn't know DeAnna, he even told her he didn't want to read things about her bfore the show, he wanted to "feel" and I guess he was thinking the bachelorette was just another dating reality show...I don't think he ever watched it before cause he really believes DeAnna is setting up all the dates...that she prepares all the surprises...and is afraid to invite her to watch some movies with popcorn

Capegal - I agee with you. Given what we know about Dee and her past history with a cheating boyfired, I don't think it will matter how serious or casual said GF might be. The fact that he was dating a girl, supposedly had to break up with her during the show and lied to Dee about cheating would not sit well with her. Now, if he spins it that this Gf was actually someone he went out with once or twice before the show and was really only a business partner, then maybe she would be a little more forgiving. But, I suspect Dee will find out the information very much like Andrew finally found out about and believed the news about Kirsten on his season - from someone other than Jesse.

That is very possible MISS - the show has made a point of pointing out (sorry LOL) that his comments involve an EX - and not a current - so I really don't think that D will too thrilled about that info - especially if she finds out also that Jesse broke up with this current g/f during the show.

I agree FableChild! Jesse may have been dating someone before going on the show but doubt it was that serious or he wouldn't have been there to begin with or wouldn't have stayed in it until final two. What a double standard, for Dee it is okay for her to date 15 guys at the same time but Jesse couldn't have a girlfreind before going on the show. I hope that if Dee does choose him they are both strong enough to put up with the narrow minded. It is a shame that people trying to support their favorite must blast the other guys so ruthelessly.

It depends on what you think is cheating, the "gf" knew he was there, and knew he could go on a date with DeAnna...
Up to that moment when she asked if he ever cheated a gf...he considered he was not cheating...phisically...but maybe he was emotionally, cause he said he started to feel something " real"...but that's something you can't control, feelings are there as you can't stop your heart from beating and your head from thinking...I guess last episode he was about to kiss her because of his feelings...but he was still able to control himself and stop it before it happens...

I don't understand why he makes it as far as he does, he's just so unappealing and then we come to find out that he has sponsors and a gf. So not only is he fug but unfaithful as well? Gee what a catch.

Wow! I have been off for a while and just sitting back reading what you all are starting to see! I think if we are going to bash the GF we should probably make a thread for Megan instead of talking about her on Jesse's. I guess I really like the fact that we bash her, but I guess I have a problem with that for the fact that he is the one who lied. I told everyone way back that he would not kiss her till at least the home visit. I really don't believe that anyone know the truth to the GF except there was one. You all think he did not have access to phone and computer but he did as did all the other guys.
As I was told by a few of you was to stop with the GF subject (oh I am sorry the truth) so why don't we.
I think we should get the GF on the next show, so everyone can see the person she is..... From looking she is alot better of a person then me because I would have started talking before now!

You're missing the point. IF he wasn't that into his GF- whom he was dating before going on the show, - he wouldn't have broken up with her via the email. You don't break up something that doesn't exist.

It is not a double standard at all - it is what the show is about - dating - not having a b/f or g/f - just dating - with a final outcome of chosing one to continue to date - or not in some cases LOL
