I really tried to have an open mind about Jesse & DeAnna's date last night, but I did not see any chemistry whatsoever. I know that so much gets hidden in the edits, but there was not even one, tiny spark. I saw more chemistry with Fred than I did with Jesse (and that's not saying very much). I honestly do believe that DeAnna just finds Jesse very enjoyable to be around, and she feels like he would be able to handle being let go a lot better than some of the others, so that is why he is still there. It makes very good sense to me that he ends up being the F2 for these reasons, too. If she were to actually pick him as her F1, I guess I would just be dumbfounded. I so want DeAnna to find true happiness this time, and if Jesse won her heart, then I would be thrilled for her, but I am just not seeing it.

as someone who likes Jesse I am not sure he and D make a good couple. (and I like D as well) I was hoping to see a big spark on their date and didn't but rewatching it I am thinking again. Jesse is always on and saying the right thing. I think he did open up a bit, he admitted he did not believe in the premise of the show when he first came on. I think he truly was nervous and starting to have "real" feelings. I don't think his pitch for the rose was fake or sales like, it was straight forward. Perhaps the reason for holding back on the physical part is because Jesse was not expecting to get this far-and yes maybe he had unresolved feelings for someone at home. I think maybe he was not "acting" on this date and was just a nervous guy falling for a girl but just my observations, time will tell

I am trying to figure out why the GF matters. Is it that Jesse has not yet tried to kiss her, or is it that he does not show an interest in her. You know, I feel sorry for both of them. It was very interesting that the GF came out before the show came on the air. Wow! how the world turns.

I think the show gives D some ideas for specific questions to ask the guys so they have a chance to explain anything that the show found out about them and have doubts about. For Graham it was Ellen asking the relationship question, for Jason it was asking about family (remember when Jason said something about funny you should ask that...?) with Jeremy- hmm.. don't know I tune out when he is on- lol... and with Jesse it was have you ever cheated on a gf. I think the show is giving the guys an opportunity and when they don't come through (like Jesse) they may step in and give her a head's up...

I commented on this last night. It was the same music that they played for Charlie and Sarah's final rose ceremony. It really surprised me! Either they are suggesting that something is happening with these two, or they are seriously trying to throw everyone off by inserting this "final rose" music here. IMO

She knew he was on the show, her company is getting the exposure, why would he break up with her while on show, why not wait until after, why break up at all,unless he just never really had those kind of feelings for her.
I don't buy the producers made him do it (he is too calculating and cool for that by most accounts)

I do like Jesse. He is such a breath of fresh air. Yes, my favorite is Jason but I do like all the F4. I am not letting all these rumors influence how I feel about Jesse. I too, have not heard his side. I feel that Jesse is getting too much heat by people but watching him on the show, he is layed back and just great to watch. His date was nothing spectacular. I saw he mentioned that he was nervous and some of that might have hindered some of his "normal" dating processes. Possibly later in the show, more chemistry will be shown. I don't know, for him to be in the F4, let alone F2, I don't see much between them.
