| Re: Jason **SPOILERS** I'm not so sure about that. I don't keep up with girls who were my bridesmaids...and add to that most likely Bevin was a friend of the ex-wife, not him. There's no way to tell how much Jason knew/knows about this show. It's all speculation at best. |

| Re: Jason **SPOILERS** Jason is a very smart and intelligent guy - I have no doubt that he definitely weighed all the pros and cons of agreeing to be one of the bach's - and was well versed as well. I would not doubt that he may have contacted someone with the knowledge to help him make the decision that he has made. I have no doubt that there is some type of agreement as to how his son is viewed/filmed as well. IMHO he was very well versed on this whole process. I have absolutely no doubts that his son was left with very caring and loving caregivers. I have no doubt that Jason took all of this into perspective before he agreed to do this. I also think he really wanted the opportunity to meet D - and this was the only manner in which to do so. He felt that taking this risk was possibly well worth it. There are so many others in the world that have done similar (and what some deem to be crazy) things like this - and many with great outcomes. Sometimes life and happiness require taking risks (as Andy Baldwin so nicely stated ) Many of us have taken risks in our lives - in order to achieve the outcome that we may really want - I know I have - and don't regret a single moment of it. For some - they never take any risks - that is a choice we all decide to do or not.I honestly believe there is no trauma - or anything even close to that - for Jason's son - at this point. From what I have seen - Jason is a wonderful - caring and compassionate dad. For me - the judgement of him being anything less is just speculation by people who don't know him and have no real clue of who/what he really is. I tend to believe the positive - until proven beyond any reasonable doubt - otherwise. When my own Capekids were young - my Capeguy had to leave home for weeks at a time - they coped very well with it and it was actually alot more difficult on me than it was on them - but we made sure that family time was really important when he was home - we set priorities regarding how that worked - and it did - and my Capekids never felt abandoned as well. I have no doubt that there are arrangements for Jason and his son to communicate during his time away.

Jason was at least an aquaintance of Bevin's even if she was a friend of his ex. I think if someone I knew even in passing was on a reality show I would watch- and I wouldn't forget how Bevin was editted and the 'would you like to live here with me' and the 'I love you' and then the let down at the FRC when she was too upset to even speak to Andy. And then Jason must've watched Bach 11 to know enough about Deanna that he would leave his son for the chance to meet her. So I'm 'speculating' that he has at least some idea of how the show works. Didn't anyone else feel he looked like he was 'on a mission' when he entered the room and circled the couch to take Deanna for some alone time? Because he knew he had to get 'one on one' time. The guy knows the drill. They all do. JMO. | |
