| Re: Jason **SPOILERS** We all feel differently about the issue of Jason's appearance on t.v. I wish I could believe in the "fairy tale" ending, but I can't. I began this discussion as a sleuthing tool in terms of who was f1. I think the set up is for Jason and the two frc roses probably complete the picture and a girl who lost her mother will become a mother to an adorable little boy--That's the spin I envision. I will be looking to see a radiant DeAnna shouting out her love in order to justify this gamble. (Jason's gamble, not hers.) Sadly, I've had it with Fleiss and with this non-romance show. I've become addicted to this board, but it's time for me to leave. I'll try my best to withhold my comments and let those of you who believe in the possibility of a Fleiss fairy tale ending believe in this season. I just can't. |

| Re: Jason **SPOILERS** girlsmom, I have a bad feeling that deanna did not find what she was looking for, not sure you can blame fleiss this time though, seems like he gave her lots of time to get to know the guys etc, but as brad found out 25 girls might not be enough to fall in love and maybe it won't be for deanna but we shall see ![]() |

I hope you won't disappear and won't withhold your comments. I'd find it very, VERY boring if we all agreed on everything all the time. ![]()

| Re: Jason **SPOILERS** What's done is done. Once Jason applied and was accepted for the Bachelorette, it was inevitable his child would be involved; either in the telling of him, or, if Jason progressed beyond the hometown dates, the viewing of him. He could have remained hidden (visiting his aunt) during the hometown date with a private visit by DeAnna, but audience would have been curious to see him; and the 'netters would have gone digging more than they have. So is it better to place him front and center and abate the curious, or hide him and perhaps flame the sleuthers' want rather than need to know? Since we can see that Jason does advance beyond the hometown dates, how the child was handled in relation to face time on Reality Television (not a kid actor in a drama/comedy) will continue to be debated. When Jason (the man with a son) was first introduced, my knee jerk reaction was Cripes! emotional blackmail that will play on DeAnna's and the audience's heart strings; thereby making the playing field decidely unlevel. (A bit like the Shayne Show without the vamping.) I am willing to give him elbow room to make his case with DeAnna, but I don't have to like that the show's story will be about the single father seeking a wife to complete a trinity.

I have that same bad idea which is why I can't stay around for the car wreck. I would imagine that there will be a very touching conclusion complete with Jason's son being flown out and receiving a rose from D. It'll be a "fairy tale" ending, but not so realistic, imo. I'm sure many will love it.

| Re: Jason **SPOILERS** If he really wants to date DeAnna the only way he would get the chance would be through this show. DeAnna was doing the show no matter what so waiting for the chance to date DeAnna would have been far down the road unless he took this opportunity. Unfortunately, this situation would make the child visible as well because DeAnna would have to meet him at least in the HTD. I'm sure Jason weighed the situation and from the edit Ty is getting it seems to be favorable for both Jason and Ty, whether he is F1 or not. There is nothing wrong with being depicted as a normal little boy that loves his dad, stays with family while dad is gone, plays baseball, and sleeps in his underwear. All involved will live through this edit.

This is that brutal honesty we saw in Brad's show that is part of her character. Sometimes it is hard to take, but there it is. It is what it is - but she is compassionate with it as noted by her tears and obvious emotional struggle. It doesn't matter that we as the audience have already developed an affinity for this nice every day science teacher. He just isn't it, and that is the way it is. The screencaps appear to show us that something similar is going to happen with both Graham and with Jeremy. They both obviously care a great deal, and while it hurts her ( we see her cry when she cuts them), she does let them go in what she feels is in her best interest in her quest for a future best suitable match in a mate. I get the distinct feeling that no matter who it is, DeAnna isn't going to keep him if she doesn't feel it. She may cry, it may hurt her and us, but I think that is what is going to happen. With that in mind, I don't think she would keep even Jason with that precious child - as emotionally ladened as that situation is - based on how we have seen her appear to operate if she didn't feel that Jason himself was worthy of the consideration of a potential husband for her. Even Jason and Ty are not exempt from getting cut. It would ( and may yet be) extremely painful for all of us, but if she doesn't feel it is the best match, it isn't going to happen. I think that if she thought that Jason was not a possible match, she would have cut him at F3 as hard as it would have been for her and us! Although it will be very painful for us after we have seen that child, if she does not think Jason is it after the LCD, she will reject him at the FRC. One other thought....a rejection of Jason might play right into Fleiss's hands. He would love that kind of dramatic heartache.
