Re: Jason **SPOILERS**

Looking at all the sc I would say Jason's LCD is with DeAnna on the boat, scuba diving. She is hugging him in yellow with the boat to the left of them. Then you see them hugging with the sunset behind them, but they are still on the boat. You can see the boat's edges by them. And their are the pictures of someone scuba diving. I would say would be them. And that the boat takes them out to where they are going to go scubba diving.

It just so happens that said woman lost her mother at a young age. As a result, she has a very strong desire for love and family. She and the single dad fall in love, and in that way her story comes full circle as she now has the chance to be a mom to a child that needs one. It's straight out of a Hollywood movie. If DeAnna did pick Jason, I'm sure the producers are thrilled that they have a ready-made storyline.

And for the record, I actually think Jason is hot now that I've seen him onscreen. Most of the guys' bio photos do them no justice, but the difference between his photo and him onscreen is like night and day. He looks much hotter, much younger, and much more full of life.
Your reasoning is perfect. I for one do not think it is a problem with marring anyone who has children. My husband did with his ex who had 3 children. And my nephew who has never been married just did the same with a young lady with 3 children. And by the way their dad could care less about the children. So I say it can easily work both ways. Unfortunately we see it more with men marring women with children than women marring men with children. I say more power to them. I think that it would bode well to Deanna and her character if she did this. If they have great chemistry between her and Jason there should be no problem with the child. At three he would easily adjust. And since his mom hasn't been in the picture much it should go smoothly. Looking at what her dad went through when her mom died, could very well give her the courage and strength to fall in love with a man who has a child.I wish them well.

Since Fleiss no doubt knows by now that FORT looks at the date when MySpace or FaceBook are accessed, is there any chance that Fleiss could actually have them, on purpose, log in with their handlers watching, to throw off those dates? Just trying to think outside the box. He might be that sneaky!!

Possibly, but I think their friends actually saw them out and about.

Last season, we tried saying the same thing about Amanda, but it wasn't to be (lucky for her!) I just don't see it happening, but you never know-- they may have learned a few things about stumping FoRTers after last season...

And then there's another scenario. The one where the mom wants her carefree life, abandons husband and child for a time, only to feel left out when a new mommy enters the picture, who loves the child better than she could, and then biological mother gets jealous and decides that she wants back in the picture because she doesn't want to share her child with another woman

Oh, I completely agree with you. That's what I was trying to get at with my post about Jason not getting the "hot" edit. Mind you, I'm not saying he's not hot - I just rewatched the episode, finally, and realized I missed quite a few little moments, including Jason shirtless coming back from a jog.

I am just hoping we'll get more substance, that's all. I like looking at eye candy as much as the next one, but a little conversation is good, too. I'm hoping, with two hour episodes, we'll get to see quite the storyline this season.

You said that the emphasis on Jason being a single dad was giving him the kind of edit that makes him unlikely to be F1. I gave a possible scenario of how that "single-dad emphasis" could work very well into him being F1, given DeAnna's backstory. This is all within the context of the world that the show has created. If you want to talk about the "real world," I can come up with plenty of reasons why DeAnna could have problems making a relationship work no matter which bachelor she chooses.

Oh, I hope not. I am hoping for great happiness for Jason and that precious little boy. I would pray that the biological mother would want what is best for her child. I'm such a dreamer that I would want there to be a way for all to be lovingly involved in giving him the best life possible.

Bloomers, I have to say that I'm one whose instincts are to protect the child, period. And I would do that by more or less leaving speculation about him out of the story. I thought you made some very good points about why people are inclined to speculate and how it is not meant to be intrusive. I respect your point of view and appreciate you posting it.

ETA: I agree with you, skylighter. I haven't given up on Jason as F1.

Re: Jason **SPOILERS**

Why is no one disturbed that Jason put his kid on realty tv to make his edit/image better? I am sure that ABC loved it that he was willing to pimp out his kid for ratings, but somehow that smacks of poor parenting judgement. There is no reason that they could not have done the scenes without involving the child. Why would you use your child to set up the "good but lonely father" persona to go date a hot chick on tv and be gone for six weeks? His child is only three.
We haven't seen anyone else's child filmed (but they have been talked about), and even Amanda kept her parents hidden ... as did Ian.

Sorry for the blasphemy, but I think he made a poor choice - even if those scenes were filmed at the end of the show after the child had met Deanna.
