I am going to say that Jason and Deanna kyak ride is HTD as well as the Space Needle. They are in an area of Seattle called Mount Lake Cut, they are on Lake Washington. If you look at the picture closely and from the tip of the kyak straight back to the skyline that tall structure looks to be University of Washington Husky Statium seats. The grassy area you are seeing are the reeds around the lake. To the left of where they are at would be the freeway overpass.

Oh, and marlap, I agree. I never experienced exactly what you went through with mom marrying someone else young; however, my brother was only 3 when my parents divorced. My mom started dating someone else, but to my brother, he was only her friend. Even though they eventually split, he's not scarred by the experience. I think the fact that Jason does come with a two-package deal does make it a little more difficult, but can also be seen as more special. I would hate to call an adorable 3 year-old "baggage". I would call him an "added bonus."

One thing that the sleuthers have been told through the seasons is that the bach/ettes get to choose who they want to give the roses to, but the order is decided by the producer (for dramatic effect?)

nennie, ITA. My brother also married a girl with a 3 yr old little boy. And it is very much ALOT to think about. I know every situation is different.
but IMO it's hard enough making a marriage work with your own children., throw a step child ,and an Ex in the mix ,and it can certainly get very challenging. DeAnna is a strong woman . I truly hope it works out for her.
I also have two cousins who married men with children ,when they were De's age. They were , loving , caring , hard working women, who were in love as love can be. well at 26 it turned out ,very early on, that it wasen't as rosy as they thought it would be. IMO It's definitly something , that needs to be carefully considered. How one thinks at 26, and what we learn ,and think 46 is not quite the same. Love conquers all. We can only wish her the very best and be happy for her. My heart goes out to little Ty though . He will be a lucky little boy having De love him.

Hey Heather...I feel the same way. when I met my ex's children...within 24 hours, it was like they had always been there and only enhanced our relationship. There is nothing better than seeing the man you are falling in love, being a great DADDY!!! I think DeAnna could be great for both Jason and Ty....and they could be great for her!!! Thanks

You are so right about the ex and step child. In my daughters case the ex is a battle in itself. There are different rules at each of the houses and they have to find a balance that can be made workable. They now have a child together and you have another entity in the equation. I will say that my daughter has taken on the role of step-mother so good. She is more of the mom-caretaker than his bio mother. I hope that if Deanna does choose Jason she thinks long and hard as to what it takes to not only be wife but mother. Has it been determined if the mother is in his life? If she isn't then Deanna will become the mother and she will have a whole new role to step into. In children love can conquer all.

But the weather was awful when De and Jason were here in Seattle for the hometown date. It certainly wasn't tank top weather, as De is wearing in the kayak date. On the Space Needle, they look like they're freezing their arses off. Not that I couldn't be wrong, mind you.
