I think what is most important are the feelings that Jason and DeAnna have for each other. Jason definitely considers his sons needs, but the needs of the child will naturally be met when two responsible caring adults are together.

I totally agree Karey.. I noticed too, and thought it odd that he would have his son make a card for someone that he may never meet. Why confuse the child. I think it's a possibility that what we saw was in preparation to Jason's hometown date. I think Fleiss thought people wouldn't think anything of it, that Jason had his son make a picture for DeAnna
I wonder if we will see Ty give DeAnna the picture he was making for her.

I can't wait to see DeAnna meeting Jason's son..

Jason also was the FIRST to get private time with DeAnna during the meet and greet. He could have told her that he was a single parent, and that way he would have gotten a sense of whether she would be interested in dating him. jmo

I understand completely why Jason didn't tell DeAnna then, of his divorce, or of his little angel Ty. There were 24 other men there vying for DeAnna's attention and they could be interrupted at any second, without Jason being able to answer her questions, or her having a chance to even process the information. Ron's case was a bit less complicated, in the fact that he doesn't have a 3 year old boy to explain. I believe Jason is a dedicated Father, who is very interested in DeAnna....and out of respect for both Ty and DeAnna, he wanted to make DeAnna aware of Ty when the time was right for her to process it! Not at the first meet and greet/frat party setting where he could not honour his son the way he would want to do or deserves, or honour DeAnna with the knowledge of Ty. JMO of course. Thanks

From hearing/seeing Jason that he wanted to wait - til he got a rose - which basically also says to see if there was a 2 way interest - and that he wanted to tell her during 1n1 time - privately in other words - away from the maddening crowds - which could have easily been interrupted - as we have seen in past shows - he has/had a plan going into this - and was sticking to it - makes sense to me

I agree. He didn't want their first meeting to be all about the rest of his story but their story. I found it interesting that DeAnna, also, was not going to get into her story (ie: death of her mother) with him on the first night either. Hmmm...

Plus, remember that Chris said that he doesn't normally get asked about infidelity this early in the dating process. There is a time and a place for everything.

And at three, he wouldn't be confused. My mom dated and remarried when I was four and I just remembered that he was nice and I liked him. I was never confused. Jason's son is even younger.

That's exactly what I had thought. It reminded me of when Byron and Mary visited family on a HTD and one of their little nieces colored a picture for them.
