I think he's just waiting for enough alone time with her to tell her, like more that just 5 or 10 minutes of alone time that he might get on a group date. My opinion is that he wants to make sure they aren't interupted by other men on a group date so that she has time to digest the information and ask questions if she needs to. I got the impression, watching the 1st show, that he really does want to tell her sooner, rather than later. I think one of the reasons he seemed so intense on that 1st night was because he wanted to tell her but knew that the meet-and-greet night was probably not the best time to do it. Then, Jenni was asking some of the other men serious questions about kids and marriage and when she got to him, she said she wasn't going to ask him serious questions. My take is the producers specifically told her not to ask him those types of questions because they want to have the "drama" of him telling D himself, rather than having her find out through Jenni. Just a thought.

It was the same with Bevin and Bettina. They both wanted to wait until they had alone time. Bevin even waited until she was on her HTD so that they would be interrupted/distracted, imo. ETA that I don't see much a difference in the way Jason is being edited.

Yep, the show description says DeAnna goes on a 1-on-1 date with a man who has a secret. So I think Jason is going to tell her on that date... I can't wait for that, especially because of Chris Harrisons comment about DeAnna's reaction being "interesting".

I'm sure they leave some "red herring" in just to throw the audience off. But I must say that I really could see DeAnna seriously considering Jason if we had been a widower. However, due to fact that he's divorce, it could very well mean that there is a "fourth person" in their relationship.....the EXfactor. Or, in other words, the ex-wife. Jason could think that things would be just fine with his ex-wife; but, that doesn't mean that it will. jmo

What is your take on her reaction being "interesting"? I think she'll be a bit shocked at first and then warm up to the idea. I mean, we have screencaps of him to almost the end, so she must not feel too threatened or put off by the idea, right?

Cubsgirl...I am in total agreement with this. I think the last thing Jason would want is to tell DeAnna that he is divorced with a young son, and right then be interrupted by some of the other frathouse antics. He simply wants some guaranteed alone, private time to tell her. Very well stated...and you could be on to something with your comments about Jenni too...that probably happened. I know I am very excited to see Jason tell DeAnna about Ty, and to see her reaction. I think they are adorable together. Thanks

Jason may very well have told Jenni about the ex-wife and son but asked that she not say anything so that he could be the one to tell her.

Also..in watching the episode again...Jason and Ty are seen in different clothes. I strongly suspect that the scene where Jason asks Ty if he wants to make DeAnna a card, happens prior to DeAnna coming to Seattle for Jason's HT visit. That way Ty would already know he was going to meet a lady "friend" of his Daddy's. Just surmising, but I really suspect this is how it transpired...Fleiss just chose to show the footage earlier. Really excited to see the big reveal!!!! Jason and DeAnna seem wonderful together. Thanks
