She probably appreciates aggressive and knows how much it has to do with wanting to spend time with the person...rather than slight everyone else, as it is portrayed. She's been in and took the same aggressive position during B11. When Jason did that during the premiere, she knew he was her type of guy.

I know some might feel it is interesting to know why Jason and his ex broke up; and we have a nice quote by someone who knows Jason saying that his ex wasn't ready for marriage or to raise a son and her family supported her in that decision. This could be a nice way of saying a lot of things. Maybe, she had a serious case of postpartum depression, maybe she started using and Jason did not want their son exposed to that, there are a thousand different scenarios; my feeling is it is no one's business except Jason and Dee. I do not want to see someone not directly connected with the show (Jason's son and ex) in a possible position of public approval or disapproval. I think that info should be private, and disclosed between the parties involved.

We are not appointed to judge someone else's action other then our own; that is why I say I am not interested to know the "why" of Jason's divorce.

Bloomer's if I have sounded disrespectful of your views it not intention on my part, and I am sorry if I offended you. I understand that you are interested in knowing more about the divorce, I just do not share that same interest. Which is odd, since I have a passion to know "spoilers" but do not have the curiosity to delve into the reasons for his divorce. I guess for me there is a limit to the extent of personal information I want to know about a contestant.

imo, It's all about the child and his needs. If you marry the father you marry the child. That's not to say that it wouldn't be a wonderful experience, but it's very different, imo. The children's needs always come first, imo and that takes some of the focus off the relationship. To me it has nothing to do with blame, it's just a fact, imo, that having a child involved in the relationship brings complications. I think we're past the point where people are tainted because the first marrige didn't succeed. I'd feel exactly the same had Jason been a widower. It's not about Jason, imo, it's about the needs of his darling little boy.

If you go on a reallity show, particularly The Bachelorette, and are newly divorced, then you have to expect your privacy is gone. If you also allow your three year old to be filmed, you have already opened that preverbal can of worms.

I completely understand what you're saying, but knowing this show and how it progresses, I think we can all safely assume that the issue of the "Why" and "How" of Jason's divorce will probably be a key isssue ON the show itself, so why shouldn't we discuss it if it comes up? I don't think we should automatically assume the worst of Jason or his ex and I also don't think we should nominate Jason for sainthood, because the truth is probably somewhere in the middle.

The "why" of their divorce is probably going to play a large part in how Deanna reacts to the news that not only is Jason divorced, he also has a child. Really, in Deanna's position, it would be natural to want an outline of how it happened/what happened, so I do think it is going to come up on the show, just like it did when Bevin revealed her previous marriage.

I think the speculation of the different options is where we do get into the potential for a bit of trouble. People read the boards quickly and see "maybe she used" or "maybe she cheated" and they don't read the context and they could pass that along as "OMG, I read Jason's wife cheated" when it was really anything but that, merely speculation. So, we do need to tread careful in how we word our speculation, I think.

Well stated Critter. Many people are judging who the best choice would be for DeAnna, imo, this would be a very important factor.

I just don’t understand why you think Jason is F1 or even F3.
We just have the first show and premier and based on that how can we be sure he is F1?
DE mentioned something when she gave away her First impression Rose that she doesn’t want the person who catched her eyes be released by having the Rose ,but in the other side she almost gave away the last rose to Jason.
So I don’t think Jason even is F3 let alone F1.
One more thing: I am new in this board, I just want to know how was the previous guesses about previous bachelors and bacheloretts. Did the spoilers and speculations become right? or all was wrong? I mean did you guess who the bachelor picks finally correctly?

Well, that's what Spoilers and Speculations does....we analzye all the screencaps and photos that have been released, and pictures up to the final dates have been released, and from those photos, the great people here at the Fort look, study and find out how long someone is there and when they leave and almost always who is the final one long before the show ever starts....

There are threads that are "normal" threads and they contain no information gleaned from Spoilers, and some people like those the best....me, I like to know what happens before it's shown, so I like the spoiler boards.

to the FORT! After looking over all the screencaps that have been released.. the sleuthers here can figure out who goes far and who leaves early. Also, Shayne (F1 in Matt's season) recieved one of the last roses at one of the early RC's too..
