He is my pick for DeAnna. I think they would look great together.

I think there is a lot in common that they both share and while not necessary, it is a very big PLUS.

I'm really glad that there appears to be a more positive vibe back here in Jason's thread. I was really disappointed that his mother left because she felt that her son was being misunderstood and because it appeared to her that people were taking things too far, before the show even aired. I hope that she has, even if out of curiosity, checked back into this thread to see the fact that we do love Jason, believe he is airing in a very good light, are sympathetic to his situation, and believe him to be a good father and a good match for anyone who comes along the way (quite possibly DeAnna).

Like most others, Jason ranks at the top of my list right along side Graham and Jeremy. These men seem to have come in to the show with a true interest in meeting Deanna, seeing if they could develop a lasting relationship with her, and being honest and open with her throughout the process.

If the other SCs are correct, and Jason makes F2, I really do hope that if she chooses him, things work out and that little boy will have a new momma to take care of him.

I think its a BIG CLUE that Dede did pick Jason as she has been quoted all over the place as saying that she is looking for someone who is "family oriented". Having a kid and possibly being the primary caregiver sure proves Jason is exactly what she wants. Seems like a slam dunk to me......

Well - for all intents and purposes - it certainly seems that Jason has an incredible support system around - loving and caring family and friends as well - for he and his son - and would certainly point to him being an awesome

dad and guy. I am glad to see and know that this seems to be the real deal regarding him. He just seems like such a sweet heart - great catch for the right gal. I really hope that this all works out for him - and the D IS the right gal

Mamgreyarrow, let me chime in with everyone else and thank you for your insight on Jason. Your explanation of the backstory behind his divorce is pretty much what I had been thinking based on his current circumstances. I had a big grin on my face watching him with son on Monday, as it is very evident how much love there is there. It would be wonderful to see them add to that family circle.

I have to say that I did not see Jason as being arrogant at all in episode 1. What I did see was someone who was smart enough to take advantage of every opportunity he had to make sure DeAnna knew he was there to get to know her. And really, when you're up against 24 other men you have to make sure you don't remain just another face in the crowd. Good for him for making the effort and doing it in a classy way (from what we saw anyway).

I was very surprised to hear people describe Jason as arrogant. I thought he was nervous as all get out and worried that he'd not get any alone time with DeDe before the RC.

I think he's a doll.

I would say Jason was assertive on the first night as opposed to arrogant, which I liked. Deanna is a strong alpha female. I have a feeling she did not mind him stepping up and making his presence known to her. I think a strong woman can appreciate a strong man who takes charge of a situation. She did say that she wanted someone who stood out and I think he did just that.

His little boy is so cute!

I thought he was very impressive the first night...he made a great impression and wanted to make sure he had some time to talk to DeAnna which is great b/c that tells me that he is serious in wanting to get to know her better.

Overall, I thought he was wonderul! I would not mind if he stole DeAnna's heart!

I actually thought he got an arrogant edit. From being active on these boards, I know differently about him. My friend said that he seemed cocky. It stemmed from his "I get what I want" comment during the premiere.

I decided to ignore the edit he got, but had I not known better, I probably would have been Fleissed too.

ps: I think he's a doll too. I can't wait to see more of him & DeAnna.
