I think the ATFR show could be for either good or bad reasons. Either way, isn't it just to catch up with where the star of the show is now? Whether or not there was a choice or whether or not there is a sustained relationship.

And this makes me want to bring up a similar point ... in the DTA the other night at one point when it had all of the guys talking about De, some of them seemed to be talking about her as if she were a past part of their lifes. IMO, Jason seemed to be talking about her like she was still present in his life.

And she talked about Graham as if he is still present in her life. I think conversational tense is manipulated in any kind of PI, unfortunately. It throws people off.

Everyone elses statements seemed so present tense or when the show was actually being taped.

Jason's statement seemed very past tense as if again he is narrating or reflecting on the entire show of how DeAnna and he got together.

I have noticed several times when Jason is talking his statements sound past tense. Also I noticed when Deanna is talking about giving the star present to Jason she says something like "we had a great one on one, looked at stars, THATwas the night Jason told me about Tyler." We have that in a VO during the presentation of the gift. But using the word 'that', to me sounds like that statement was made well beyond the time of the presentation of the gift. I hope that made sense. Of course it could very well be that TPTB just asked her questions much later in the process about the date and she was responding in the past.

One thing to note is that to date, other than he who must not be named, none of the Most. Shocking. Final. Rose. Ceremony. Ever. has really been such. None of the people have come back. F2 never bi*tch slapped the bachelor. There was no real twist ending with a wedding, flying monkeys, or mud wrestling to determine who gets the rose and ring on a string.

People just have their favs and don't want to believe that the Bach/Bachette picks someone who is good for them, rather than who the general public thinks is good for them.

Deanna will ONLY be a step mother and that will be as good as it gets. I am writing this as a step mother of 25 years to my son! His mother was a derelict.....but she was still his mother. On her deathbed, she was still his mother.
