Okay after reading all that has recently transpired, I don't think that the divorce will be the issue if DeAnna didn't pick him. My main concern is that in B--d's season Bettina was on the ABC front page, a divorcee, and lo and behold who's picture is there this season....Jason. Now with everyone knowing the F4, basically, even if he is among the F2....would his picture be up on the ABC board???? If he was the F1???

The only hope I have is that Sarah from Travis' season was on the front page and she was F1..

Just read about Jason's divorce. Well, this changes my perspective on things.

Lets say she picks him and he proposes. He just got out of a relationship with someone he was with for 9 years, married and had a child with. And now less than a year later, he's engaged to someone he's only known for 6 weeks and met on a reality show? I guess my thinking could change one I watch the show. But I don't think it matters how nice a guy he is or what the reasons behind the divorce are. I just can't see a relationship that comes out of a situation like this turning into a successful marriage.

I just hope someone got their dates wrong and Jeremy's somehow F1.

Oh, and bald Jason....NOT hot....

KY-LA - he has been out of a relationship/marriage for more than a year - probably twice that - and regardless if he has a child - his going on this show is no different than any of the other guys.

Perhaps if he is the F1, there isn't an engagement? Maybe they will just do either a promise ring or just hand out the FR and they can see what happens w/their relationship in the real world?

Completely disagree. Having a relationship with someone that's a divorced father, lives 3,000 miles, has completely different religious beliefs than you and that you met on television. Any one of those things can cause enough problems to end a relationship. Let alone when you have all of them.

And I thought I read that he divorced in 2007?

The only difference between Jason and the other guys is that he is a divorced father.. ALL the other men live far away from De and I'm sure not all have the same religious beliefs... Are you saying DeAnna won't stay with any of them because they don't live in Georgia or have the same religious beliefs? I'm confused by your post..

I was thinking about this on the way to dinner.

I think IF Jason is F1 (or Jesse for that matter), it'd be REALLY smart for Deanna to date them for a while before a final decision was made.

Going with Jason being F1... he has a young child. It would definitely behoove them both to (a) make sure Deanna is ready to be a stepmother/mom and (b) that the child acclimates to her being a part of his father's life. Nevermind the regular Bachelor/ette mumbo jumbo that goes on during the weeks that the show airs and the possibility of their breaking up.

I can't imagine that they'd both choose to just jump into things quickly. I think this is why we haven't heard about an ending yet-- there isn't one yet.

Of course-- Deanna could decide to date Jason AND Jesse while the show airs...

For some reason, the more I think about it, the more 'smart' it seems and Deanna has always struck me as 'smart'.
