Just to play devil's advocate -- it is jmho that it might be easier to follow in the footsteps of a wife who left by divorce than one who left by death. You can always be better than the one he just got rid of -- as opposed to the angel that God just took.

It actually bodes well for Jason if a friend of his ex-wife's had a hand in introducing the idea to him or the producers...

If he had been mean, cruel, cheated, selfish, etc..., no way Bevin would have a hand in it.

I think she must have because that would be too much of a coinkidink for him to randomly apply.

Of course, they probably all watched her season though, so that could have given him the idea on his own.

It would be so interesting to know how he came to apply...

Totally understand what you mean. I have family members that fall into both of those categories and neither situation is easy but it depends on the situation, the person and what you make of it.

Jason does sound like a good guy and a hopeless romantic to boot. I echo other posters here and I really do hope that Fleiss is sensitive to that little boy.

ETA: I just saw that Bevin was in his wedding. It just keeps getting more and more interesting!

I don't get a bad read on Jason. He has such kind eyes and, add that to the romantic proposal, I think that there must be far more to the story for a romantic to give up on a young marriage.

Since Bevin was a friend of the bride, I suspect Jason became familiar with the show, and applied after seeing De Anna on the "Bachelor". I can't see Bevin having something to do with his applying for the "Bachelorette". At least that seems very unlikely IMO.

The bridesmaid's first name is Bevin her last name is Nossa. Not our Bevin.
