That's horrible. When I moved out of the house, to the lower mainland, he moved back in. House was finally ordered to be sold (he had to pay my legal costs on that on

) and the idiot trashed the place before the new owners moved in. That little temper tantrum probably cost him $5,000. Idiot.

I don't get a bad read on Jason. He has such kind eyes and, add that to the romantic proposal, I think that there must be far more to the story for a romantic to give up on a young marriage.

Wow! I have been lurking lately and reading all of these threads to try and get caught up since I am so far behind on everything and when I left for lunch we knew nothing about this guy. I return from lunch and we have all of this information about him. I too was hoping that he was a widower rather than a divorcee. Divorcees can have much more baggage than widowers. It's funny that this morning we had nothing and after I read this thread I googled his name and found a linked in page for him, a work website, a reunion.com page and a classmates.com page.

That information about Bevin would explain possibly how Jason got on the show... VERY interesting indeed. Maybe Bevin nominated him to be on the show.

Maybe it's my age or being part of a generation where I grew up with a lot of friends who had divorced parents, but I really can't say that this news makes Jason look any worse in my eyes. People get divorced for all kinds of reasons, some may seem seem legitimate to outsiders and some might not. I'd like to hear more of the story behind it, assuming he is comfortable talking about it on the show. As long as DeAnna knows everything and is comfortable with the situation, I would have no issue with her picking him.

I will say though, that if he is F1, it makes a very good story for the producers. Think about it, you have all these other guys who look great on paper in that they are young, good-looking, good careers, never been married, and don't seem to come in with any baggage. Then you have Jason who fulfills the career and looks part, BUT he is divorced and has a child. Most would think that DeAnna would never pick him with all the other options she has. The other guys get to be the frontrunners while Jason sort of sneaks in and wins her over. It could make for good story telling.
