Sometimes, sadly, youth really IS the reason. People follow their hearts instead of their heads and once they land they realize it isn't what they want or need. It could be anything, though.

I do agree with whoever mentioned that this adds an extra complication to things post-show. If she chooses him, Deanna would most likely have to move to WA. Huge battles happen when a parent wants to move out of state with a child and they're sharing custody (or even visitation, I think).

It sounds like this season is going to have a little bit of the good, the bad and the ugly of love. It isn't all roses, after all.
That might be what tips her to Jesse, and I feel worse about that one. I hope not, but all kinds of warning bells went off immediately and that was before I read all of the stuff.
I wish we could be assured that DeAnna would be told the background truth ( if it is the truth) about Jesse by one of the crew, but I don't know that even they know about it.

I've been separated for two years but, alas, no divorce yet. That pansy won't settle and has gone so far as to spend, gee, probably $2,000 in legal fees trying to get a garbage can back and I was the one who brought the money into the relationship. Men!!!

Don't forget-- Deanna is a real estate agent. The market's not so hot down here in ATL right now....

This news is crushing-- I just can't see Jason being F1.

Aww, Lynn, sorry to hear that!

My aunt is going through a divorce, has been for the last year, because her husband had cheated on taxes, owing $200,000 to the government, and NEVER told her. He had stopped working and was living off of her salary (she was a teacher... not big $$).

Like your ex, he's been dragging everything out... and has also refused to move out of the house that my aunt owns! Needless to say, she is currently living with my parents. Divorces can be so nasty.

I am fearful of a man ( Jesse) if he actually took another man's wife away and then dropped her to win DeAnna on the Bachelor. Is that what we want for F1? Is that what she wants??

I hope this is what happened!!! IA with Haleysmommy-- the wording of the episode description makes it sound as though the ex up and left him with their child. If that's the case, I wouldn't question his intentions one iota.

Re: Jason **SPOILERS**

Trying to remain objective here.....

Neither being divorced or having a child has fared well on The Bachelor, so I'm leary of the edit on this one. Widowed with a child might have worked because of Dee's history, but now we've found out he is divorce, I'm really skeptical.

On paper, Jesse is looking better right now. We have the leak of his swarmy ways, but the general public doesn't have that info. Fleiss may edit him as the hard working boy with big dreams (kind of like Andy) who made something of himself, is serious when necessary but fun loving and free spirited, successful in his field (he owns a couple of houses), and just looking for that special someone to complete the pic and be his travel partner.

It will be very interesting to see how this turns out.

Jeremy, Jeremy, where for art thou???

Didn't she specifically say something to Brad along the lines of (remember her list?) she wants someone who shares her faith in god or something? I don't think she said we have to have the same religion...just faith.

Yikes! Not what I meant at all...I meant if they mutually agreed they made a mistake... But who knows, maybe she left him for another man--we just don't know...

I want to hear that he is a man who is committed to the idea of marriage.

It sounds like she is going to let Jeremy go at F3, but we heard his friend say loud and clear that when he marries, he wants to go in for the long haul. That is what I want for DeAnna. It may not actually work out that way, but I want it to start out that way anyway.
Oh, I know...I'm sure she was cautious...divorce is hard period. Just that second reason is just the lesser of two evils...
