"DeAnna, 26, a real estate agent from Newnan, Georgia, meets 25 potential soul mates as she begins her own search for true love. In the premiere, "Episode 401," 25 eligible men come from all over the country to try and win her heart. Single dad Jason says a tearful goodbye to his three-year-old son as he leaves to meet the woman he hopes will complete his family. Jeremy is convinced before ever laying eyes on DeAnna that they are meant to be together. The bachelors arrive at the villa and are immediately knocked off their feet by DeAnna, stunning in a sexy gold dress."

Could he have contacted her somehow outside of the show? Yes, but she may have already been announced as Bachelorette by the time he "discovered" her. It will be interesting to see what his reasoning is. It's not something that I would recommend to anyone with kids to do, that's for sure. | ||

You know, I know there is so little there, but something about it, about the way it is worded really makes me think that he has the best interest of himself and his son at heart, that he is looking for the woman to complete his family, and I think that is worthwhile. Then again, it could just be Fleiss and we will find out differently when it starts airing. Now, I know this has been touched on before, but nothing says he abandoned his son. To me that would mean that he left him home alone. I would say that he probably left him with his parents or his sibling, and that his son has been there before, and as to the weeks comment, it was only what 4-5 weeks, and I know alot of parents in our area that have to travel that much at a time for work all the time. I guess I am just not outraged at this like others, I am not seeing it in the same light.

VERY very well said - and I completely agree with your. We all have different circumstances in our lives and I don't disagree with what Jason has done at all.

| Re: Jason **SPOILERS** I think the bottom line will be the circumstances behind either. It could be a divorce, where the father has sole custody and the mother is totally out of the picture to the point the mother doesn't even exist in the child's life. This was the case with my own dad and brother. My brother last saw his mom at age 3 and didn't see her again until he did a search and found her across the country when he was 52. He found her, not the other way around. So you never know and we can not draw conclusions at this point. My grandparents lived with my dad and brother to help raise him, until my dad one day met my mom and then married. My brother had my dad, my grandparents and my aunt, to help raise him from the time he was 1 til he was 4. |

| Re: Jason **SPOILERS** A three year old might find it really cool that his dad was going on TV. I bet that would be fun for a 3 year old to think about. Then to have dad home in time to watch it with him... kids like that kinda stuff.
