The weather was strange in April in relation to our "normal" wet-gray-with-days-of-sunshine weather. Mariner has made some excelent posts in the timeline thread (I think). I am sure that the days spent at the Space Needle (April 24) they would not have been in summer clothes. I am quite sure that Deanna was at least verry chilly

For reference - today is a gorgeous day. It is 65 degrees, slightly overcast/sunny. Most guys running today would wear a tshirt unless they were being filmed by ABC

But then we have had a half dozen days that the temp reached 80 and beyond in May.

I think the video of Jason with TY is after the HTD and before leaving for the Fantasy Date.

Much earlier on there was a poster from Seattle on the ABC Board who said that she thought Jason was going to get a Hometown Date because she had seen him and DeAnna filming first at at a restaurant and then at the Space Needle. The poster said it was chilly that day and that DeAnna had on a yellow coat that she never took off. When I saw the screencap, I remembered what the poster had said about Deanna having never taken the coat off and figured that it was not only windy but cold to her. I am thinking the hometown must have taken place on one of those colder days.

Actually she could of been referring to the restaurant at the space needle. Which I think she was.

Maybe so....I remember her mentioning that remarkably the restaurant wasn't closed off, but it wasn't crowded either. She said that people tended to act ( or tried to) like nothing out of the ordinary was going on.
I just don't remember where or even if she named the restaurant. That has been a while ago now, and I don't remember the poster's name to go back and look it up either.

Yes - she was - she mentioned how there was an area cordoned off - just for the filming of the bach date

You're probably right about the particular area. I was just so surprised that the entire restaurant wasn't closed because usually when we see these dates, the couples are completely by themselves.

When you go up the Space Needle, the observation deck where they are filmed is on another level from the restaurant. They could easily close either floor temporarily for filming and not disrupt the other floor. You have to take the elevator from the base. I am sure the Needle is used for filming all the time. It is the most recognizable landmark outside of Mt Rainier.

The observation deck isn't that wide, but they could get two cameras up there. I bet they didn't eat there - only sightseeing. The view is incredible and it revolves 360 degrees in an hour.

Or its just filmed that way as the tables right around them aren't in use. We rarely see the whole resturant to see if its all empty.
