I noticed that Jesse wears are ring on his middle finger too, and I am fairly CERTAIN that Jesse isn't celibate. I could see Graham wearing that kind of ring, but I couldn't imagine TPTB letting that tidbit of info get past them.

My daughter wears a ring like this (yeah!) and usually the chastity or purity ring is worn on the wedding finger, to be replaced when the wearer marries and ... Never heard that wearing a ring on the middle finger has any such significance.

And this makes me realize that "good guy" Jason is just as maniuplative and coniving as "bad guy" Jeremy.

I really hope Deanna has seen the light and that's why all she's saying is that she's happy with the end, albeit the manufactured end. She succeeded in giving Fleiss his happy ending and now hopefully she can find the real happy ending that the structure of the show didn't allow her to have. She definitely needs to explore things further with Graham. And even if that doesn't work out, heck, she will have had fun!!

Great observation about Jason. Exactly what I was thinking yesterday while watching it. Jason is a smart guy and sees the attraction that De has with Graham, although the others are blind to it I guess (Robert thinking he has a connection), and to him Graham is a threat. Jeremy thinks he already has Deanna, but Jason knows better, thus the transformation at the end of the show with the scruffy look and the cap. That does not seem to be his normal look, but somehow, he is trying to be more of a Graham than a Jason. ITA

I don't see Jason trying to transform himself into Graham. He's being thoughtful. He's been in a long term relationship and I think has more ammunition on how to make one work. I think Jason is being smart in how he treats Deanna. I just hope he really cares for her, and not just the "idea" of her. It's easy to see an edited person on TV and think they are the right person for you, but in real life, they could be completely different and if you've convinced yourself that they are who you see on TV, being faced with the reality would be tough. Hopefully that's not the case and D and J are perfectly happy at this point.

There is post somewhere about the meaning of the rings. It dates back to high school, but it is not what you think it is. Something to do with soccer/basketball championships.

My first thought is "there is no way he is a virgin"? Just because he is just so smoking hot, and he is a very physical kind of guy - Holding hands, hugging, rubbing hands, touching elbows/arms in the RV on the way to the racetrack (too sexy). But that does not mean that he is not waiting for marriage to make love.

Does anyone else think that Graham might be a bad communicator inside of the show because of the video cams and constant company of the other guys? Guys are typically different around other guys vs. with their women. I felt his discomfort at having to pull her away with all the other guys watching them (he seems like a guy who gets along very well with the guys and might find it uncomfortable to be obviously in-their-faces about his and De's attraction- and maybe he's just a too-nice guy). It obviously hurts him when Jerry goes and hugs her or Jason rolls up her sleeves...

I replayed their very first meeting and I am almost 100% sure he whispers something to her which we can barely pick up over the microphones before he walks into the mansion. Something about her looking beautiful...and she responds. I really think their romance would have played out very differently off camera.

Ok, I may be waaaay off base, but I have a totally different impression of Graham. I think he's probably a bit of a "playah" in real life. Yes, I know this is totally stereotypical, but...Good looking (to put it mildly ), jock, issues with intimacy- emotional intimacy, I have no doubt he has no trouble with physical intimacy . I think he's playing De, and it's working. The farther back he stays, the harder she tries to get him closer. I think he's having trouble gettinmg emotionally invested because he's not used to it, and there's probably a reason for that. To me, he seems like he's playing this thing strategically, like a game

I remember reading that post, and if I recall correctly it was in response to a question about the thumb ring. I don't recall which post it was though.
