I was thinking how she is outside at the mansion..
she is dressed up,like for a RC possibly..
It is at night..
and the F4 is when they start walking the guys out when they leave..

maybe if it was from him,he either wrote it or had someone else give it to her..but if it was that he wasn't there why would she be outside?Maybe he justs leaves the ceremony after ,knew it was coming..and then gives it to her through Chris.. (romantic specualtion!)


... That would go with the story line he has of not opening up and her doubting his feelings and then when he leaves he gives her a note expressing them or saying goodbye..

the only thing with that scenerio is that it would not look good for the F1 to have her so upset about him leaving..

Whether that's really what happened or not, that's probably one of the best scenerios I've seen yet to explain his early exit and the picture of her obviously upset, reading the note or card. That way, he would be able to privately explain why he felt she should send him home without having to embarrass her in front of all of the other guys by turning down the rose when she offered it to him, in turn then embarrassing one of the other guys by making him realize he just got a rose by default.

Here are my thoughts on the note. It actually could go either way.

Scenario 1: Graham has a gut feeling that he is not going to get a rose, so he sits down and pens this note telling Dee everything that she wants to hear but the words Graham could never say. Tells her to read it after he leaves. She walks him to the car and as the car pulls off, she opens it and reads it.

Scenario 2: Graham realizes that Dee is way into F1 (whoever that may be) and he decides to leave before the RC and hands one of the bachelors the note. Bachelor gives the note to Dee when she comes in for the RC. She opens it reads it, seeing that it is from Graham she runs out the door hoping he hasnt left yet. He's gone, she rereads it(thus the SC).

That note is definitely based around that rose ceremony - some how - and those are all good possibilities.

These are all extermelly romantic ideas which I of course love..but we will have to see how it is edited and plays out..I would keep in mind that fleiss would not want to make it too upsetting as to cast doubt on the finale and her picking someone else..

I go with the first scenerio more..he knows it is coming,she doesn't give him a rose,they leave and he leaves in the limo as gives her the note ,either from him or Chris somehow..

Scenario 2 is very romantic, however, I think it's just us wanting a better storyline. Scenario 1 is very probable though!

My friend said he saw him in February and March. Graham was in N.C. for family related stuff. It seems like maybe it was a funeral. Though, I feel weird speculating like this about a friend of a friend. I'll just ask him.

Also, I'm new - so bear with me if this is a silly question - but isn't it possible that the guys could be seen in their home town during a HTD? The B/ette has to go to 4 home towns. Wouldn't that give the guys some days where they were not filming. Is it possible that they might wait in their home town until the next RC. That would be an awesome way to confuse people about when they get home. It would look like they were back. And then they go away again for a few days to finish.

I'm not saying I think it's Graham. The pictures do seem to point to Jason and Jesse. It seems like there would be so many better ways to fool people then the editors are using. JMO

ETA: I kind of referred to the possible reason for Graham leaving like he did upthread. I think that there were reasons for his leaving when he did. (post #536)

Someone posted that the funeral of his grandfather was in February so it would make sense that Graham was back home during that time and seeing/talking to your friend.

After the HTDs are filmed it is my understanding that they are secluded somehow until the next RC. They are unlikely to be able to roam around their home town without at least an ABC handler at their side watching their every move. I would think that once the HTD has been filmed the guys are flown back to the mansion, or, in this case, the bunkhouse to await the arrival of the other guys.

At one point, I read that they were put up at a hotel. This would go along with the appearance that they haven't seen their parents or family until they open the door at the Hometown date.
We have also read about "the handlers". Even the Bachelor or Bachelorette has one ( only for political correctness she is called "a publicist"). This person is the one who is responsible for telling the Bachelor or Bachelorette what they are allowed or not allowed to say on interviews. I can remember hearing on radio interviews that certain Bachelors would look to the side and wait a moment before answering a question. That was because they were waiting for the ok from their handler.

I agree with you. Scenario 2 is way too romantic, scenario is a much better choice. Just in a romantic type of thinking

I would have thought the same thing. But, they also let the contestants go back home alone after they are finished filming. Then, don't they go about their normal lives during the run of the show? Why would they trust them less on their HTD? How do their handlers handle them from elimination to the time the FRC is aired?

If I was ABC, I'd make the last six stay until the end. It's only a couple of weeks. Pay them, or whatever.
