I agree. He seemed uncomfortable with the whole thing, the living situation, (showers in front of the cameras), the guys competing and the speed dating of course. I got the feeling that he is not an agressive persuer, he is shy and that is his charm I think. Although he did try and was really cute about it, but Dee did not seem that into him.

Again I would say that she knows something we don't, because she made the comment "I don't want to invest in somebody who would turn around and say thank you for the ride". So she either has heared something we did not or knows something about him we don't. Anyway, I can't see it work out beetwen them.

As for the "one relationship" thing, I think people are misinterpreting what he said. What I understood was that he had one serious relationship where he thaught about marriage, that's what I got from that conversation and not that he has had one relationship. I would think that he has had more then one relationship, don't you agree?

I took that to mean that he has only had one that got anywhere near serious enough for him to start thinking about marriage. I also took it to mean that relationship didn't quite make it to that point where he started thinking marriage before it ended either.
I think that the editing is pointing us to the F4 exit. What actually happens, I don't know, but we are being set up for Graham to leave despite how "smokin' hot" and attracted she is to him from the word go.

That is how I took the "one relationship" comment as well.

As for the "thank you for the ride" comment, IMO Dee is sorta sizing up these men to the "brad standard". She invested her heart into him and got hurt, so of course her guard is up.

Thanks for saying what I've been thinking as I read some of the comments in this thread.

I think that The Bachelorette probably was not a good forum for Graham to find love in. I don't find anything wrong with the guy at all, personally, but for the Bachelorette "experience," i.e. this speed dating you speak of, to work, the men involved have to be a little aggressive at finding love and attracting a love interest, and Graham seems a bit too laid back for the competitive atmosphere. I don't know if it's because he's shy or not into Deanna or what -- and none of those things make him a bad guy -- but he did have a great opportunity to light a fire with Deanna, so to speak, and it didn't seem like he made much of an effort to do so.

If he had behaved differently and wanted it to happen, he probably could've secured a F2-F1 spot with their beach date. I read Deanna as being THAT into him, physically anyway, but I think he played it too cool. For whatever reason.

It could be that it was just more difficult to date a woman who is dating a bunch of other men than he anticipated. Maybe that's a sign that he really did like her. If he hadnt found himself attracted to her it might have been easier. Some people are just not gamblers at heart.

I agree...would it be fair to say also that maybe he did not want to get his heart broken as much as she didn't as well, given that very reason?

Did I hear correctly that Graham said he just got out of a relationship or was it edited for him to say that and it maybe left out when it was?

Any speculation that he may have been in a relationship with the AMC actress?

I would love to know from the posters who know him if his actions around DeAnna are the norm. It seems to have a hard time looking at her when he speaks, the arms crossed in front of him, etc. I realize that what we're seeing is with cameras around and the getting to know you phase is lightning speed but it is something I noticed.

I agree with DeAnna though...he is smokin' hot. There was definitely some serious flirting going on in that car!

DeAnna impressed me last night with her intuition. I don't know that she knows something about him as much as felt it. I think she felt a certain skittishness about him and --since she was so vocal about it--she may be having a dejavu Brad (sorry to mention that name) kind of moment. I think she has a hunch that this is a guy who is not ready for major commitment and she has learned from her mistakes. She is determined not to go down that road again and I found myself really admiring her last night. In some ways, it may have been a bit much to bring up on what was their first date but it proved to me how determined she is and committed to the 'ideal' behind the show.
