He is my favorite too because he reminds me SO MUCH of Ian (Meredith/Ian). I too wish that the rumors were not true but you know the saying "where there's smoke there's fire". So I doubt that he will go beyond F4.

I posted on this site elswhere too, I have been a member for a long time, but since Meredith/ Ian season I have posted only twice...until now.

I love Graham, I had him F1 as soon as I saw him step out of that limo, without even seeing the others. It was just a hunch, until I read all the rumors about him leaving early. For the first time in 4 years the show looked interesting to me, because of him. He reminded me so much of Ian and I saw the sparks fly between him and Deanna in episode 1. Maybe I am crazy, maybe I am a hopeless romantic, but there was a vibe there that I did not see with anybody else. It's a shame if the rumors are true.

From all the speculations and analysis, I think De will not choose anyone at the end of the show, and I think Graham is the reason why. I hope I am prooved wrong.

We've heard rumors that Graham leaves because of an external situation. Many have thought it was a family emergency.

Some of his friends have posted on the FoRT -- have any of his friends confirmed or denied this?

We've also heard that it was mutual decision that Graham not continue.
DeAnna has said the F4 RC was the hardest.

Here's a possible scenario (aka - total speculation): Could have Graham just not been into De enough to want to stay? He wasn't feeling the love, told De and it was hard for De because she DID have major feelings for Graham. (Blissful pics of her, in the bball jersey, looking up at Graham ... was it unrequited on Graham's part?)

I don't think we should count Graham out just yet. The beach pictures that we saw on Ellen today were different than the ones from tonight's show. I could be wrong, but I think I can count 4 one-on-one dates or alone times for Greanna.

That is a possibility of course. However from the posts it looks like he had feelings for her (The facebook posts). So I don't know which is true. But really sad to hear that he will not be the F1.

With that said, yes, you can not force love, and this show does just that, and does not work because of it. When you have sequestered people around one person, without outside interaction, of course they are going to get closer, but that's not real love. I would love to see few bachelors or few bachelorettes with 25 suitors at a time vs having one person with 25 suitors and see what would happen then, that would be more real then this format they have so far. However, I think the bachelorette is by far, a better show then the bachelor, because the bachelorettes are more genuine about finding love.

As for this season, I don't know how much of the rumors to believe or not, but it doesn't look good so far. I wish I were wrong. I am in the Graham camp and would have loved to see him standing at the end.

Maybe whatever happened in Graham's life just made it too hard for him to deal with the kind of feelings for DeAnna that would be necessary for an F4 advancing with the inherent idea of a possible marriage at some point in the future. If he had some kind of personal grief, he may have been struggling with that and simply couldn't handle trying to process the super-speed romantic feelings at the same time. Maybe the timing was simply wrong.

If this is so, why did Graham even go on the show? I am speculating, but I do know for a fact that there have been other prominent contenders in past seasons who tried to back out of going on the show ( for personal reasons). I am thinking of one, who like Graham was very charismatic. She was exotic, beautiful and flamboyant, and she was also dealing with some volitle personal issues in her life. She tried to excuse herself from being on the show at that particular time but was not allowed to. That decision to pressure her to do the show was not in her personal best interest, and we saw her in some very, very emotional scenes which made her look unstable.

I do not know what is happening in Graham's life, but I do think it is possible from what I am reading and hearing that Graham was not at a good place in his life for this. Maybe at another time and place he and De might have hit it off, but that is not now.
If I am right, then it simply is not meant for DeAnna and Graham to be together at this time. As she has said over and over again, "Things happen for a reason."
I also don't think this is a Romeo and Juliet type theme. I think she is happy, and Heaven knows that boy is going to be flooded over in girls as soon as he is ready to seriously start courting!

Could it be that the VO we hear in the preview of DeAnna saying that she did not want to fall for another Brad (commitment issues I assume)...could that be her talking it out with Graham and they both decide that he's not "the one" for her?

Could it be that he was soooo into her, that it was just too much for him by this point? Knowing that she's still getting to know others and possibly developing feelings for them as well? I can see where this show and the competition that inevitably comes out, could be really hard on a guy's neanderthal side. Would he be the type to say "I love you, but I can't stay and do this."?

K9Mom, that sounds, right to me. We know she has mentioned it last episode that she wants to stay clear of that. I think you hit the nail on the head.
