It doesn't negate the fact that Deanna went on the show to find love (if indeed it is true that she was paid). IF she was and Graham interpretted her motivation solely as monetary gain then that was his assumption, not a fact, unless she told him.

Personally, I don't think that any of the principal individuals (both male and female) would have completed six weeks of filming and the myriad promotional obligations without some form of compensation.

Upthread mention was made of outstanding bills and mortgage payments, you cannot put your life on hold and not continue to pay your obligations. Who in their right mind would want to "can" their credit rating for a reality TV show?

If compensated it does not mean they are doing it only for the money they could still have an open mind to finding love. I would also bet that Trista & Ryan & son were compensated for their appearance on the Deanna Tell All , why put yourself out there for public scruitiny otherwise?

luvstruck, I'm confused about your response to my post. I do think that even if there was some monetary gain from appearing as a bach or bachette, it doesn't mean they weren't there for the right reasons...

I'm sure Ryan and Trista are compensated every time they appear on any of the shows, and maybe Mary and Byron were on the AFRC from HWSNBN.

I assume they've all been compensated but we've only heard of a few....

I think it was The Smoking Gun website that had a copy of Trista's contract w/Fleiss, or maybe it was Jen's (gasp!) contract. I'm sure a lawyer type could dissect the contract and make an informed decision on whether compensation was forthcoming or not.

Only one drawback, remember that most of Hollywood is Union and that in order to receive compensation for "Acting" you must be a member of the Screen Actor's Guild or another associated union.

I guess that would be determined by whether or not Reality TV falls under 'acting'.....

Hooked, I wonder if what Graham means by the first most painful thing was falling for Dee then seeing/hearing about her kissing or dating the other guys? No matter, he is used to having a girlfriend for four weeks devote themselves to him then ends the relationship so he stayed true to himself. LOL Has anyone figured out how many weeks he was on the show before his departure?

If you go to the Timeline thread it states that the first RC was started 3/31 and ended 4/1 and the RC that Graham left was 4/26 so I'm getting 25 days or 26 days - just shy of 4 weeks IMO. LOL

Maybe his mother knows best !!!!!
