Wow. I am truly shocked and saddened by this news. sdl, you were a searchlight though the fog that shrouds this show and a voice of reason that I always looked for and respected. Lately, you seemed to be sharing a bit more of yourself in your posts. Thank you. You made me smile always, even when you were delivering news I did not want to hear. My sincere condolences to all those who had you in their lives in the big world. What a loss. Rest in peace, our friend.

It just simply will not, can NOT be the same without Scott.

The first posts I would seek out, and always the voice of reason IMO.

Our PM's will remain very precious to me.

I feel as if I have lost a best friend.

Rest well dear friend and know how deeply you will be missed and how dearly you were/are loved.

    I am just physically sick.

I was very saddened to hear this. Sdl was a perfect example of how online friendships are more than just cyberspace, they are real connections. My condolences go out to everyone here who was his friend, as well as his friends and family in the "real" world.

I am heartbroken to hear of SDL's passing. He was such a kind and generous friend who always had time for everyone. He understood community in the truest sense. I hope his family will, at some point, be able to see how much he meant to us and, Scott, you will always be part of our community here as you will always live on in our hearts. Rest in peace.
