I will miss SDL. My condolences, and I hope it was painless
I am extremely shocked. I have been lurking lately because I am trying to not let the boards take over my life like they once were. I mostly have been reading the updates on DWTS and Survivor. I haven't been here to TB'ette thread because I really don't care for Allie. However, I came today and saw this news.
I am deeply saddened to have lost such a wonderful person. I truly enjoyed SDL's posts and always looked forward to them. My thoughts and prayer go to his family and friends and to you his online friends. He will truly be missed!
I just found out about this on the DWTS forum. I'm so sad. I used to pm Scott a lot and I always enjoyed "talking" to him. His humor and expertise made so many of us smile and laugh. My thoughts are with his loved ones. I hope they come to know what a difference he made here.
SDL is the only poster who ever requested to be my friend just from the few times we interacted on the board (I loved his posts, they were so clever and funny). What a wonderful person, I will truly miss his insight!
Scott was the last person I thought the news would be about.
I didn't know of his illness and I'm grateful he spent time with us here.
What an intelligent and reasonable guy he was!
He valued all our friendships here at FORT and my prayers are with his family.
Oh wow, I haven't been here for awhile either. I'm so sad to hear of Scott's passing. :( I'm mostly a lurker too, but I felt like I knew him. My condolences to his family and friends. :( Rest in eternal peace.

sdl's posts were always interesting and many times filled with up to date and accurate information. He seemed like stand up person and I will miss his input. God bless his soul. My prayers go out to his family.
After staying away from the boards for a while, I was stunned to find this thread. I always looked forward to SDL's articulate postings and his explanations about the legal side of these crazy shows. I will miss his posts, his insights, and his sense of humor. This season won't be the same without him.
My deepest sympathies to his family and friends especially those of you here that had a special bond with him. RIP SDL. :(
