I don't like it. She acts like she's still in High School and dressed like that for the prom.

I'm agreeing with atem. Not a fan of the look. I know she is being herself. Different when you are at a wedding and at the end of the night you want to take your shoes off and dance in your socks or something. Not a way to start out though.

I will not be a bit surprised that when she arrives in the limo at the M&G, and the camera always shows the Bachelorette's feet first exiting the limo, she will have on tennis shoes.

Me either and that would be the smartest thing to wear. That night lasts forever.

I think it's cute but imagine she'll wear heels at times and sneakers others.

That would be cute....BUT!!! I don't think this costume designer would go for that. He said she is going to be hot and sophisticated. He may let her have some casual looks, but he still wants a certain air about it - or that is what I took away from the article.

Now, another thought. If you remember, during Jason's season, we never saw Jillian in a long dress. That immediately told me she doesn't ( or didn't at the time) like long dresses. I watched to see what was going to happen with her on her own season...
Out she came in a long dress! And, out she came in most of the the RCs in long dresses.

I just think the Bachelorette is going to have a certain elegant look about her if this Cory guy has much to say about it, and tennis shoes would surprise me as part of what he would allow.

Ali is a pretty laid back and casual kinda 20 something - she is not the all girlie type of 20 something - most likely more comfy in sweats and a tank top and sneakers - hair pulled back - no make-up any day of the week - but - then ya dress the girl up - put her in a fancy dress - hair and makeup - and she is a wower kinda gal - a knock out - I think that picture pretty much says that about her as well.

I love that pic and think it is absolutely HER Remember she wore sneakers to a RC and I bet it was because her feet hurt cuz I bet she doesn't wear heels all that much

You can find nice looking shoes to match what you are wearing that are comfortable to wear. They don't have to be tennis shoes. Might as well wear jeans then.
