Forget the sleuthing, but can't you put pictures of the Bachelors here? I like seeing them, and who makes it.
I'd also like to remind people we are not sleuthing this season on FORT as the stickied thread says. So speculating what someone's ex looks like who is not on the show is not going to get "solved" here. If she appears on the show, great. If not, we're not snooping around to find out.

I just watched it online and my faves are J.P. (awesome smile), William (love the voices), Ryan (he seems to have his crap together) and Ben that brought the wine. Jeff - the jury is still out on that one. The man is 35 years old; does he really need to play it like this? Bentley - she has been warned and I am not thrilled with him at all. Ugh.
Too bad she doesn't have a TV in her room like the HOH does in Big Brother - that would totally rock! She would be able to peek in on the guys while they were hanging in the kitchen or living room. Heck, an ever better idea would just have on so she could watch them out by the pool! Yummy.
Oh yea - after reading the recap - Ames is ok, but with all those degrees and his over-achieving ways - Ashley may not be good enough for HIM! And Anthony - it seemed like he was trying a bit too hard to play the "lil ol' me card." I have worked with so many of those types when I worked in a casino (dealing craps) with several dealers that moved here from Atlantic City.

Put on your big girl panties and deal with it!!
It's been years since I've seen Moonstruck (Cher, Nicholas Cage), but my impression of Anthony the butcher was that he was emulating Cage's movie character, who was a butcher. But I can't be bothered to go to the library for a copy of Moonstruck to check it out and see if my memory is spot on or terribly faulty!
It also occurred to me that Anthony might have been angling to be The Bachelor, rather than just a bachelor. But that notion was furthered by his having been shown at work, etc. Time will tell! IF he were to be made The Bachelor at some future date, it would be interesting to see what sort of women were chosen for him.
ETA: The problem, for me, with Jeff: He doesn't show warmth or smile. Take someone like Ryan P. -- if he were to do this, he would be smiling, perhaps poke a little fun at himself or at least take the comments gracefully. Jeff seems hostile. So, it's not the mask nor the reason for it that strikes me as weird, but rather the way Jeff is playing it. Hard to say after so short a time, but it seems he doesn't have the personality to pull it off.

I'm running behind .. but my top three would be Ryan P, JP and Ben F.. but Ben would be only because of the wine.. I'd like to taste that wine... My top two are JP and Ryan ... I'd pick JP from the start...(Except that I've been happily married for 22 years.. but if I were young and single it would be different!)
Wasting away another summer...
I never would have thought it from his bio on the show's site, but just judging from the first episode I would have to guess J.P. might take it all. His magnetic smile you guys have mentioned, and that whole "cupcake" exchange.. But I'll have to see how their chemistry appears on a date. There's too many guys now to be sure about much. He might be able to match her cute energy.
And, I might be the only one, but in another lifetime, Ames would totally be my type. I hope I get to watch him for a while!
