HELP! SOMEBODY PLEASE!.... Is there any way I can watch this in its entirety? I just saw a few small clips on the web. Does anyone know if the show is repeated at all during the week? I seem to remember being in a restaurant on a weekend and seeing it playing on the screens at the bar. Does ABC repeat it at the same time every week or just when there's nothing else to put on the air?

    Ali - BRUSH YOUR HAIR!!

I can't decide if Jake is gay or a tool. Or a gay tool. Not that there's anything wrong with that. But this was a fake Mike Fleiss relationship from the start.

    I hate this "reality" show.

I thought that Chris was very obvious with his favortism last night towards Jake. I guess he wanted the viewers to know which way he leaned in the matter. That now makes me think less or Jake, not more.

I wonder if Jake intentionally selected a girl who would make it easy to break up with. If he had selected some of the more easy going girls who would have become a doormat, then it would have been more difficult to explain why he had to walk away from them for his career. With Vienna, it's easy. He can make all kind of claims since her character and personality was in question from the very beginning.

Also, did Ali pick up on something that told her to run for her life when she left The Bachelor? It makes you wonder.

I am glad I fast-forwarded the Jake & Vienna bit! But reading the re-cap made me decide which camp I am in-*"Jake is a dog-hater, and a smug one at that"
This gets him kicked to the curb for me.
Ali knows for sure she dodged a bullet!
Looks like we have another catch-phrase in the offing-" I knew it was going to be hard, but I didn't think it would be THIS hard..." Every bach / bachette has whined this pre-rose ceremony.
Ted: Dougal, you can't sit around here watching television all day - chewing gum for the eyes!
Dougal: Oh no thanks Ted, I've got these crisps, here.

I couldn't stand Vienna's constant interruptions. If that's how she was at home, and from what we saw of her on the show (Jake's Bachelor season), she was awful then. He missed all the clues, and the broad hints the other girls gave him. No one to blame but himself, because he thought he saw the good in her - and I'm not so sure there was any! She gave him what she thought he was looking for, and took him for the ride she wanted. It just didn't end in the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her. Yet. Hope dies eternal, I guess.

We all know it. They all go on that show thinking they may get famous - or get some fancy dates at least. They are providing our entertainment, and a very few actually find love. VERY few.

Now Ali. I'm just not seeing chemistry for her with anyone really. I wouldn't be surprised to see nothing in a lasting relationship happen for her, because I doubt she's mature enough to handle it. I also wish they had brought in Gia or Tenley for this show. I never felt Ali was the little sweetheart they wanted us to buy into. With one of those girls, maybe we wouldn't feel love was such a far-fetched idea for the show's happy ending. I really think Ali may be there for the fame too.

    ~sigh~

I hate being disillusioned so often.

I have no doubt that Jake picked Vienna for ratings purposes. She was more controversial. To have gone with a sweetheart like Gia or Tenley would have been boring and not promote headlines and himself, especially when he had no intention on remaining with the person.

I'm really beginning to question why I watch this show when all the guys that seem to come on are scheming self-promoters. Wes, Justin, Frank...they're making me ill.

This entire thing reminds me of the scene with Ray J when he is commenting on his previous show For the Love of Ray J. (I have been told that Ray J is the guy in the porno with Kim Kardashian. I'm not positive.) Anyway, after the show ended, Ray J's peeps are telling him that the winner, who he had dubbed Miss Barry, due to the resemblence to Hallie, wanted to actually date him. Ray J was floored. He was shocked that she actually wanted a relationship with the guy whose heart she had won on the show! He said I know it was a dating show, but I had no idea she would really want to date me! LOL Don't you just love it?

    Narcissistic Personality Disorder:

Narcissistic personality disorder is a condition characterized by an inflated sense of self-importance, need for admiration, extreme self-involvement, and lack of empathy for others. Individuals with this disorder are usually arrogantly self-assured and confident. They expect to be noticed as superior. Many highly successful individuals might be considered narcissistic. However, this disorder is only diagnosed when these behaviors become persistent and very disabling or distressing.
Now tell me this doesn't sound like Jake. Vienna is immature and irritating, but no woman on the planet deserves to have to put up with a partner with NPD.

Re: 7/5 Show Discussion **NO SPOILERS**

This morning, I talked with a friend that I hadn't realized worked with Jake's brother when he was a med student. She said that everybody in the hospital was asking him who Jake picked, and that he told them he wasn't allowed to say. But she said, he told her "I do know who he picked, and I really can't say who it is. All I will say is that it's not the one we wanted." I know I got a vibe on the show that they had concerns about Vienna, but it looked like they were resolved. Maybe not so much? They have been awfully (BLESSEDLY) quiet about both the relationship and the thermonuclear meltdown.

Being on this show does crazy things to people's heads (Are you listening to me, Mr. Lambton and Mr. Martinez??) Peace to J & V. They really do need peace and I hope they get it.
