I felt so bad for Chris last night but happy that he can now be open to whatever life brings him. Much as I'd love to watch him as TB I hope he doesn't do it. There's something so wrong with a show that forces the lead to have to pretend to be in love with someone they're not in order to keep the ending a surprise. This season we got to know Chris so well that America (and Canada) fell in love with him but we barely got to know the guy Ali picked. I know I should be happy for A/R but have no feeling either way. Hopefully they will be happy but the only one I care about at this point is Chris.

Hoping Chris finds the love of his life in Cape Cod. Someone who'll appreciate the great guy right in front of them.

I don't think any bachelor or bachelorette did a show because they were not able to meet a partner. Yes, Chris probably has a lot more women throwing themselves at him now, but why not do it for the money.


I say, do it $$$. Make a nice deal, buy yourself a house or something.....

I just hope people realize there are really good guys out there. Don’t settle. Family comes first. Whether they’re married or looking to get married, always put family first. Put family ahead of work, put family ahead of money, put family ahead of everything and if more people did that then this would be a much better world. So many people say they have taken away the family values we have and how we just love each other.

As for him being the next Bachelor - I agree with Chris H...he would probably be very unconfortable in a group date situation and kissing multiple women.
His humour, personality and looks though would be ideal. Plus he has the potential to meet with a woman whom he would never meet in his day to day situation.
Obviously its his decision but I do hope the quality of ladies that get recruited on the show would be high and no floozies and fame mongers, IF Chris does accept. The grounded,real women do NOT make for good TV (according TBTB !).

Chris may do better hobnobbing with the rejected ladies of Jason, Jake and even Matts season (though Matt did have more crazies than normal). There were a few ladies of good character who have not yet hooked up with the rejected Bachelors that may be good for him.

Hope he keeps his eyes and heart wide open.

I am like many of you who would like Chris to do it for selfish reasons. If he does, I hope he will avail himself of the immense leverage he has due to his overwhelming popularity. I recall that they gave Jen the opportunity to review her 25 candidates. If I were Chris, I would insist that he and his family have the right to choose the 25 from their portfolios.

My plan B is for Chris to hook up with Tessa. Now that would be a match (in my opinion)!

Chris is such a class act. He totally carried the show and more importantly carried Ali when she came to his room to let him go. He really is the MAN.

I never thought about that. Good point. I would think that they could give him 50 pics and histories and let him pick his 25. They've done that before and then he could choose ones in his location, etc.
