Go watch the video clips of bloopers at jokers. It will be worth watching Monday night for the bloopers if for nothing else. What a hoot!
Take my advice. I am not using it.

Maybe they were actually too busy to fit it into their schedule. It appears a lot of the filming has occurred in the last month. In that time, Jill filmed EMHE, they went to Hawaii to vacation with her family, then it was Jason & Molly's wedding, after the wedding Jill headed to Canada, and finally they were back home. So maybe there really just wasn't a time where an interviewer could come that fit into the respective schedules of both Jill & Ed as well as the interviewer/crew. But who am I to say why they won't be on. JMO.

Whatever their reason was - even if it were just bad blood - I have to give Jillian kuddos for the way she has handled everything thrown at her. I would be especially proud of her if she is standing up to TPTB and refusing to drop everything and be at their beck and call when she really does not want to do whatever they are asking of her. It has to irritate the crap out of TPTB, too.

I would be willing to bet that if she and Ed do get married, that she will want no part of the wedding that ABC would be offering her. I believe that Jillian really wants to put all that hoopla behind her and is only interested in things that will advance her career - such as Extreme Makeover. JMHO.

    a) Ali looks great with no makeup in a robe, so she will be stunning - the first B'ette truly worth all the hysteria that will ensue. I hope they bring in top quality guys and go easy on the drama, but I guess that isn't the Fleiss formula these days.
    b) I should never speculate on JED because who knows. Maybe he really does have to work sometimes (Jillian is not working, right?) Maybe their deal is a little shaky. Maybe they're just tired of TB.
BUT......20/20 is supposed to be investigative journalism, right? I know this is a fluff piece, but if you were an investigative journalist - even a weak one - tell me how you could sit across from Ed and NOT ask about Lindsey, Bethany, the emails, "bring the beer and the condoms," the work excuse, "I'm not into this chick," who he slept with after he got engaged, etc. etc.
There's a giant elephant in the room, and no CH to toss you softballs while pretending it's not there.
Just the fear of having to face hard questions would be enough for them to quickly develop a scheduling conflict.
If I was betting, I'd put my money on that one for sure.

Totally agree with you SDL. Based on people's tweets and other info we have , these interviews were conducted over a period of weeks. Definitely not in a very constricted time frame. It is very obvious that they did not want to be interviewed !

I agree that it would be hard to imagine Jed being interviewed and the subject not even being brought up, since it was a huge controversy after the show ended, and for some viewers, the most memorable part about this couple. Even if it was approached in a sympathetic way, it has been clear so far that Ed isn't interested in telling his side in any detail, and from all appearances, Jed have made their peace with whatever happened, so it makes sense that they wouldn't mind missing this particular media opportunity.

It's for sure that if I were they, I wouldn't want to stir up all of that stuff again. She has that episode on Extreme Make-over coming out where she is getting to use her skills in a very positive way, and it would be suicidal to take the chance on what might happen with this 20/20 documentary - if that is what it is actually supposed to be.

I have been over to jokers and viewed bloooper segments as well as a couple of things on Melissa which hardly look hard-hitting.
    Enjoyable, yes...

You might remember that I laughingly suggested to you that Ali was going to be stunning, and that was the exact word I used right after the announcement was officially made. I could tell that by the time the wardrobe, make-up and hairstylists got hold of her, she was going to go from refreshing and cute to fabulous.

However....and you know what is coming! They are going to do the best they can to do a hatchet job on her season as well as the last few seasons. In fact, if there is any way to make her season worse, they will do so. Why? That has been the trend. Each season has been worse than the one before.
My guess is that it will relate to who Ali chooses or tends to lean toward rather than to Ali herself.
They will have given the contenders those 4-5 hour personality tests plus the 300 question psych exams on top of they will have investigated them for "stuff" in their lives. Some of the ones shall we say are "interesting" will be pushed strongly at her.
Take my advice. I am not using it.

"can't fit it into our schedules" might just be a polite way to say they want no part in doing the show. What ever their reasons, whether it be not wanting to revisit the old crap that the tabs threw at them or simply wanting to stay out of the limelight I say good for them. They did their stint...
Okay I love FORT's casino, but I really am not very good. If anyone wants to donate their FORT $$ I would gladly accept http://www.fansofrealitytv.com/forum....php?do=donate

I hear you, SDL, and agree that Jillian and Ed do not want to have to face the hard questions. I guess my point was just this. It is nice to see ANY of the past bachelors or bachelorettes say "no thank you" to Fleiss and Company. So, it really didn't matter what excuse Jillian gave. I was just hoping that she was refusing to play along and that was good enough for me.

Rarely is there a solid right or wrong answer. Much of what we talk about is hearsay, which some will not believe no matter how reliable the source. Most of what we express are opinions. We often have public records or photos or other confirming information to back up those opinions, but they are still just opinions.
I can only think of one time when there was a huge battle over something that was purely factual: when some were convinced that Jason and Melissa were absolutely still together, and others believed he really had dumped her and was with Molly.
It was very quiet after the final episodes aired, as everyone was a little stunned to see it actually go down. But I never sensed a reluctance among those who missed the call to admit it, and can't think of one person on this board who gloated. Not at all. Because friends may disagree, but they remain friends.
