Re: Jason and Molly's wedding...are you tuning in?

I will be watching Jason & Molly's wedding. I had no problems how Melissa got dumped and don't hold it against Jason & Molly. You come on tv and date in a Harem like atmosphere you get what you get.

I am happy that Jason finally has a woman worthy of him and his son. A woman who fits into his life with his son.

    Here you go
The Bachelor: Jason and Molly Talk Wedding Details
The happy couple meet the press before heading to Africa on their honeymoon.

    Pamela Sitt, Mar 04, 2010
So Jason and Molly got married -- despite Mother Nature's objections -- and now they're talking to the mass media a scant five days later. Shouldn't they be on their honeymoon?! Do these two ever stop "working"?

Of course not, they've got a wedding to plug! The Bachelor's first ever proposal to actually result in marriage* -- never mind that whole mess about Jason proposing first to Melissa, then taking it back, then reuniting with Molly and later proposing off-camera -- is coming to ABC Monday. Finally, we'll find out the real story behind Molly's dreadful bridal hairdo. Ken Paves, how could you?! (Team Melissa?)

(*Trista and Ryan's wedding doesn't count, since technically it gets credited to The Bachelorette.)

Not to worry, fans who never wanted Jason and Molly together in the first place can pair him with someone else in The Bachelor: The Videogame, available on Nintendo Wii and DS this summer! No, this is serious. The game features real-life bachelors and bachelorettes, so if you're a wishy-washy guy prone to dramatic crying fits, you can play the Jason Mesnick avatar.

Now then, on to the happy couple: Jason and Molly Mesnick!

Can you talk about what made the day so special and did the rain put a damper on things?
Molly: Oh gosh no. I loved every minute of the rain. We both just looked at each other and laughed. It will always make this day far more special.
Jason: This won't be shown on TV, but Ty ran down the aisle literally a minute before Molly came out. So I tackled him and I took him to his seat, and 30 seconds later Molly was at the top of the stairs and I started crying all over again.

How did you know the dress was the one?
Molly: Monique Lhullier did the dress. I tried on a bunch of different styles, but I knew I wanted that mermaid style dress. Once we put on the style I thought I wanted, we both looked at each other and said, yes, this is the one. She was phenomenal to work with.

How do you stay focused and make the relationship work?
Molly: I think a lot of it was the fact that we stayed away from Hollywood and went back to our normal lives. I went straight back to my job and Jason went back to his job. It wasn't about keeping our faces out there.
Jason: Molly and I have really focused on getting back to Seattle and doing what we do. Being here with Ty is really what we want to be doing.

What percentage of your guests were from Grand Rapids, MI (Molly's hometown)?
My bridesmaids were two girls I went to high school with and my sister. ... It was at least 50 percent were from Grand Rapids.

How much freedom did you have in planning the wedding and who was invited?
Molly: I had 100 percent control over every detail. I picked the colors, the dresses, the jewelry. We had all the power in the world to make this any kind of wedding we wanted.
Jason: They were a lot of articles that came out saying ABC was telling us who to invite that was not the case at all. There were people from The Bachelor we knew and wanted to invite and we were absolutely OK with everyone being there.

    Any honeymoon plans?
Molly: We're headed to South Africa in a week.
Jason: We're going to be there in two weeks. We want something part relaxing and part really fun and adventurous. We've always wanted to go on safari.

Have any other Bachelor couples come to you for advice about the televised wedding?
Molly: We've been talking to Jillian and Ed quite a bit about it. We had a wonderful experience doing it. We reached out to Ryan and Trista and they had a wonderful experience as well.
Jason: For us the only quirk was that Ty was a huge part of it, but he wasn't a televised part of it.

    How is Ty doing?
Jason: Ty is doing awesome. After the wedding he said, Daddy, now I want to get married. He gets it!

You are now the second couple in franchise history to walk down the aisle. Do you think love can be found in the time of the taping?
Molly: I think that the show definitely brings people together. But I think the period after the show is done filming is crucial to the relationship.

How did Jason Castro from American Idol get involved with the wedding?
Molly: We both loved Jason Castro's version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" so we reached out to him and he was great about it. We were blown away. It was perfect. He's a really good guy.

Have you heard about The Bachelor videogame? It has a Jason Mesnick avatar.
Molly: You're kidding! I have not heard anything about it. Jason, we're going to have to get that.
Jason: Does the guy cry all the time?

Does it feel any different being married versus just living together?
Molly: I am the happiest I have ever been. I look at Jason differently. I think married life is the best ever, and I wish that feeling for everyone.

Any plans for kids in the near future?
Molly: In the future, but not the near future. We want to take a couple years and slow down and get back to a sense of normal. Then we'll think about expanding our family.

Absolutely not. I can't stand to watch either one. Jason for what he did to Melissa and Molly for what she said about Melissa. The only thing about their marriage that pleases me is they're keeping each other away from hurting anyone else. I hope their marriage is successful and they never leave each other.

Stay away from golf clubs, Molly.
Watch out for rolling pins, Jason.

I wasn't either a Molly or Melissa fan and hate the way the break up was handled. It should have been kept in private. I will probably watch. I love the pictures of them in the rain. It adds charm to it.

In real life, there's just some people I don't click with. In Bach reality, I didn't click with Jason and Molly so I won't be tuning in.

Don't care, not interested, not my kind of people, boring, wish they would just go away, would rather wash my dog, would rather wash anyone's dog....
It's not like I even dislike them; they're ok I guess. But I know hundreds of more interesting people, and the nice thing is that they don't think they are especially important.
I will be interested to see the ratings because I honestly can't imagine who would bother to watch. But, seriously, I do wish them the best. I think most people are over the Melissa/Molly thing....so let's get this over with and quietly move on.
