Okay I was right Jason is Jewish. Wow I remember that!!! I wonder why he didn't wear a yarmulka for his wedding. I saw one of the guests wear one.

loved the wedding, and that Molly and Jason could laugh about the rain, shows a lot about their character... I wish them well
I have to admit that when I saw how much drama they were milking out of the whole "will rain ruin the wedding?" storyline, I envisioned Fleiss picking the date for the nuptials after consulting the Farmers Almanac. Crazy, but I wouldn't put it past him to do a rain dance, however.

Did anyone else, upon seeing Jason Castro singing while strumming his ukelele think "Tiny Tim"? Just me?

Even with the rain, it was a lovely wedding and the couple came off very well I thought (and I am not a big fan). They received a much better edit on this special than they did on their season, and it seemed like TP didn't try to set up embarrassing scenarios for them, like with Ryan and the stripper. With all the perqs and extravagances that I doubt they could have afforded otherwise, that they were also able to share with family and friends, combined with the opportunity to rehabilitate their image to a degree, it really was a win-win for Jolly to go the televised route, IMO. No doubt Jed will be next.

They showed quite a bit of Ty on the Seattle segments, just not on the wedding segments, which I thought was odd. you'd think they'd not show him at all if they'd made that decision

Yeah they sure did show Ty quite a bit. I understand why Jason didn't want to show him at the wedding.. It's just to much.

i think the footage that was shown of ty was from this past summer. it sounds like the decision to no longer have him shown is pretty recent. i don't think jason has any control over whether or not abc can show old footage of ty.

The weather out here has been a mixture of sunny days and downpours for a few weeks now. But I'm up north - not sure what So. Cal has been like.

ETA: I also heard the wedding consultant say there should have been a back-up plan. She indicated that she recommended something but her recommendation was dismissed. She said otherwise they'd have been indoors and comfy at that moment. Wonder who dismissed her back-up plan.
There is absolutely NO excuse for the lack of a back-up plan for the possibility of rain. Even if they didn't want to take into consideration the $45,000 dress, the cost of a top of the line hairdresser and make-up artist, and the comfort of the guests, there was still the aspect that this was the couple's special day.
If there is a way to (deliberately) put people into uncomfortable situations for drama, Fleiss is going to find it. It rained and was cold - those women were huddled under what they could find - on this beautiful, horribly expensive wedding, and although Molly and Jason laughed, I am sure that they would have preferred an inside dry wedding with comfortable wedding guests.
My guess is that Fleiss and Company vetoed the inside provisions.
Dear paranoid people who check behind their shower curtains for murderers, if you do find one, what's your plan?

Molly happens to be a very naturally pretty woman who was, unfortunately, made up to look garish and hookerish.
I have to stick up for the makeup artist, Mally Roncal. She does makeup for Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez and is known for having makeup that STAYS ON. Look at Molly - with all of that rain, her eye makeup stayed put. I think that says a lot! I think Molly looked absolutely gorgeous. You could see it in Jason's eyes. Their first dance took my breath away!

That's what I thought - it really seemed like they decided not to include him in the day. I always like when couples include children in the wedding to let them know they are a part of the day and the new family.

I'm am not sure I buy the route of wanting him to not have the cameras there - for goodness sake - there were cameras EVERYWHERE - why not just let him be int he wedding and only allow them to film him like they did the bridesmaids - you know just when he was around let him be in the shots but not in his face - I guess they didn't trust Fleiss to be tactful about it....

I am sure Molly's bridesmaids were happy it was on tv - they each got a pair of Manolos!!!

    I don't understand how the wedding planners didn't have a back-up plan.

I heard that the wedding planner saw the weather forecast and wanted to move it inside. He told Fleiss that there was an 80% chance of rain... Fleiss said no. Keep it in the rain.

if it came between a televised wedding without my child(ren) and a non-televised wedding with my child(ren) ... no way would I leave them out.
