Wasn't one season set in New York... I recall the Rose Ceremony being upstairs and the girls had to walk down the narrow staircase to the limo which was waiting on the busy street... Maybe it was Jesse Palmer's season as he played football for the NY Giants...

That's why Ilana's blog made sense to me, because we knew before I even saw that blog, that Ed and Jillian were going to L.A. We just didn't know why.

Also, wasn't there a post initially from the Shangri La that said filming would start Oct 22nd or something which we thought was far to late? I'm wondering if the girls simply stayed at the Shangri La, because we do know the rooms were booked and unavailable, then were driven by limo for the M&G to another location.

Perhaps the tweets are general PR advertising.

Yes! I was thinking the same thing when I posted earlier, narrow staircase, but couldn't place it. It was cold, and they were freezing!

If it was held at the hotel, you would think there would be a leak somewhere, a tweet or a picture from a cell.

GA, on the Shagri-la facebook page I saw a comment about filming for the Bach on Oct 22 & for everyone to come. That didn't make sense to me & I think would have to be hotel promo.

Yes, I also recall the hotel giving Oct 22nd as the date for filming. My recollection was that it was on Facebook but I can't find it on their page now. Maybe they've edited the comment. Or maybe I saw it someplace else but I do remember they stated Oct 22nd as the date for filming the premier.

There's a pic on JU of Ed at a pool what looks like to be in L.A. Doesn't look like the Shangri La, but confirms they were in L.A., just another reason to believe the M&G as per Ilana's blog was Thursday. Strange, that MF would bring an outsider to the M&G, I can't get past that.
