Happiness isn't just an emotion, it is a state of mind.
Breast reduction surgery is serious business. Kudos to her for being so brave and it didn't bother me one bit that she told Jason about it. To me, it was appropriate at the time and place. OT Kudos to the Bachelor Production staff for highlighting a very sensitive topic and for showing support for a just cause. I was impressed.Originally Posted by nutty1;3284125;
I think it is up to her when to tell him or when it is appropriate to tell him.
I think that sometimes an opportunity presents itself & you just have to go with it. I've tried to plan a conversation & it has never worked out. Natalie found the perfect moment to tell Jason she likes bears & she just did it.![]()
Heehehee, that was classic! The look on his face was priceless.Originally Posted by SaffronSunrise;3284138;

I agree - although the topic was appropriate, the timing was way off.....Last night she was one of 12 ladies, this is a conversation you would have with someone who you are intimately involved with. And NOT on national television.Originally Posted by angelic_one2002;3284118;

Believe nothing that you hear and only half of what you see. :nono
I can't help wondering, if Melissa is F1 and moves to Seattle, how well she'll adapt to the climate change.
Seattle is a great place in many respects, with lots to do. But if you've lived in a sunny, warm place like Dallas for a long time (which I did) and then move to Seattle (which I did, for a year and a half), you can really start to miss the sun.
I have a hunch that it was no accident that Starbuck's started in Seattle. There are numerous coffee purveyors there, and I always thought that the caffeine consumption from coffee was related to lack of sun.
Anyway, since I thought I heard Jason say that, due to Ty, he would never leave Seattle, I'll be curious to see how Melissa (if F1) fares there. Then again, she's a lot younger than I was when I moved there, so who knows.
The fact is we don't know what lead up to this conversation - the timing could have been perfect for all we know. Melissa strikes me as a very open and honest person who very well could have gotten lost in the conversation and totally was not thinking about the cameras and it eventually being on national television.Originally Posted by anders332;3284145;
I am curious about people's reactions to Melissa's bringing up her breast reduction surgery. Do you think it is so intimate and personal because it was surgery on her breasts? Would you have felt differently if she talked about having surgery to reduce the size of her nose? Personally, I don't see her conversation as out of line - the whole date was about breasts, and there is certainly nothing shameful or embarrassing about having breast reduction surgery. My niece had that done also, and she really appreciated the show last night. She thought it was cool that a DCC talked about it on national tv! I am not trying to pick on anyone - that is why i didn't quote any specific post; i am just surprised at the negative reaction.
