I agree. It is in the past. I am sure there are friends of Jason who have his side and friends of Melissa who have her side. The truth is probably in the middle. They both seem happy and Melissa is a southern girl so I think she is most happy in Dallas and not in Seattle!

I think the real question should be, why did UsWeekly decide to select a photo for their cover with Jason not smiling?

Maybe because this engagement is "serious business" for Jason, unlike his "engagement" to Melissa. Who knows???

Possibly it was the pose the magazine chose to put on the cover. I prefer to see his smile.

Actually, I do agree with this, that ring was beautiful!!!

Side comment: I don't know why, but I always had the feeling that Jason held off from saying what "really" happened in part to protect Melissa and not make matters worse. And I have a lot of respect for him because of that.

FYI, not sure if this was mentioned yet but in the People article Jason says that Molly's ring was designed by his Seattle jeweler pal.

It's not a good photo of either of them -- Molly has that 'I smell cauliflower cooking' look on her face. US could have chosen a better pic of both of them.
