| Re: Bachelor 13 **SPOILERS** Thank you pajamasam and cupcakes for starting and introducing the possible schedule. I'm trying to work this out...10 days to the F4 - seriously? First night 1 day group date 1 day individual date evening group date 1 day rc evening = 3 days 12 group dates 2 days 2 individual dates evenings or 1 day (?) rc evening = 3 days (possibly 4) 9 group date 1 day individual date evening individual date 1 day/evening rc evening = 3 days (Unless they travel which would add another day) 6 group date 1 day individual date evening individual date 1 day/evening rc = 2 days (unless they travel which may add 2 days) At F4 the possible number of days is 11 - which would jibe with the statement of 10 days to F4. So, that's about 1 1/2 weeks from opening night to the F4 home visits which take another 5 to 6 days which leads to the F3 which takes appx 4 days which leads to the finale which could take another 4 days with travel. That leads to appx 3 1/2 to 4 weeks filming. Seriously? I thought filming usually took around 6 weeks.

| Re: Bachelor 13 **SPOILERS** I think the F4 vs. Matter of Time cast members are largely being specially cast in advance these days, perhaps with a possibility of variation in the 1:100 chance that the Lead Actor/ress falls in LOVE with some other randomly cast person. And most of those slots seem to be going to professionals of one sort or another with something to promote, usually themselves. In addition to the obvious opportunities for advance planning of story lines (venues and conflicts), pre-casting the F4 is a cost cutting and efficiency measure, in terms of crew assignments and allocations. All Field producers are specially assigned to contestants. All Field Producers wish to fulfill expectation of Fun! Travel! to Awesome Places! as part of their Exciting! Job! In THE INDUSTRY! So, they are basically each assigned a "winner" in advance, in my speculative opinion. Much more could be said about this. But I too find that 10-day timetable crazy! The budget was slashed??? |

| Re: Bachelor 13 **SPOILERS** All right...I'm looking at the timetable for The Bachelorette. I read it (at least the start and finish dates have been corroborated) as 39 Days of filming the principals involved. That works out to 5.5 weeks. The number of days from the First Night to the F4 cut is: 19 days - which is closer in tune to the flow of the show rather than the 10 days. If I added another four days into the roughed out timeline I put together upthread that would bring that count to 15 days which is closer to the 19 days. However the Timeline pans out, the principals have stated in interviews that time pressure is exhausting on both the body and the spirit. katydid to the FORT! You may have hit on why Trista/Ryan are so special.

| FORT Fogey | Re: Bachelor 13 **SPOILERS** I have heard for the last 2 seasons(Bach 12 and B'ette 4) loose scripts have been given to several of the "cast" to follow. Part of the scripting is for the roles of F1-4, so this new timeline makes sense. It's new age! Kind of like freeze dried. Just add water and poof. Goes along with the idea of new producers at the helm. |

I hope the B13 episodes are more than an hour, because I think it's difficult to tell these stories in a timeframe below 90 minutes.

| Re: Bachelor 13 **SPOILERS** This is pure speculation, but I think that are going to go with the --Lucky 13-- theme. This is the season that will carefully be cast, so a marriage is inevitable.
