Looks like I may be in the minority here, but I am hoping that the next Bachelor will be someone we already know; more specifically Jeremy! At least we know that Jason and Jeremy are great guys, and now that I have gotten to know Jeremy even better, I want to see him in that position. With unknown Bachelors - it is a gamble; but both Jason and Jeremy are great guys, honorable and nothing sleazy about either of them. My only hesitation with Jason is 1)I don't want to see Ty exploited (as Fleiss would surely do), and 2)as sweet as Jason is - I don't think the Bachelorette pool really will be as specially suited to him (it is a show afterall). If it didn't work out (odds), I would feel even worse for him.
I'll be the first to admit that two shows back to back (B12/B'ette 4) was overkill, but heck by January I would love to see either of these guys as the Bachelor 13 (especially Jeremy!).

I think it is very interesting that both of these guys would be willing to do it again - probably for the right price I think we are seeing more and more of the stars compensated. (At least we think that Travis, Jenn, Matt and Deanna were compensated, maybe others were also)

If Jason were to do it again, I am sure Ty would be part of the equasion - which seems to be Okay with Jason. It would be obvious (unlike last time) that Jason is 1) both comfortable being away from his son to do a reality tv show and 2) also okay with his son being used on tv. I doubt that either hurts the child - just changes some people's perception of him.
Jeremy has probably pretty much screwed his prospects with a large law firm, but doing the show again might give him contacts if he is interested in entertanment law. What a change from real estate contracts!

I still would like someone new. I like the getting-to-know-you part best. What I don't like is the assumption that we "know" these guys from some fantasy that has been created.

ABC seems to be recruiting "rugged" types. Maybe we will get a new format with two different types of guys like Byron's season. Certainly they can come up with something new that is not some stupid twist or weird format

I agree jelle I would like someone new...opinions good and bad have already been formed of Jason and Jeremy and I just can't see why they would want to go through this again.

I am also tied of reruns on the bachette...get us someone new that opinions of them haven't been formed. Surely there are plenty ladies that would want a chance at a good looking guy. JMO.

I fully agree, get somebody new. These two guys have been "beat to death". They both appear to be normal people, therefore, meet your mates the normal way.

As of this past Wednesday no one had been cast as the next Bachelor ~ I was told they are looking for an "All American" type.

It's funny that in the little video that Ch was interviewed - at the end he says - ok we will say right now - that Jason will be the next bachelor - uummm wonder if just a ruuse.............uuummmmmmmmm m

I heard that Paula Abdoul (spelling?) and her ex, I forget his name but it was rumored that he was in talks with the Bachelor people, are trying to work things out. So I guess the talks fell through
