I would love to see something like this happen; but, if they are already casting the girls and still playing ads for "nominate the next bachelor" then I doubt that they have the Bach cast yet. So I'm not so sure about it being carefully cast, unless they already have the guy and we just haven't heard about it yet.

They always run those ads when the current season is playing, even when they have already cast and filmed the next season. It just keeps them getting the information coming in, espically since there is a delay in the time of filming and the time of airing.

I thought about that, but if it is him, then I would be analyzing everything that the producers did and said. Plus, I would try so hard to bring in a laptop and find some internet connection so I could be a FoRT insider and leak everything to the wonderful people here. Tptb would hate me. Maybe I could negotiate my contract to have a FoRT clause and I could give official entries and stuff. I think that would be the only way I could do it.

I saw on E!News last night that Paula Abdul's exboyfriend, J.T. Torregiani, is being considered for the role. Look at 5th video down on the far right side of the screen under "E! News Now" ~ E! Online .

It was reported he was asked a few years ago to be the Bachelor, but turned it down since he was dating Paula.

People magazine also brings a little note about J. T. Torregiani. It's on page 24 of this week's issue (the one with Anne Hathaway on the cover), in case someone wants to take a peek at a newsstand.

Here's what they have:

Restauranteur J. T. Torregiani, 33, who has split from Paula Abdul, is in talks to be the Bachelor in an upcoming season of the ABC show. "He was asked a couple years ago, but he got together with Paula so he didn't do it", says a source. "He's considering it. He wants to settle down, have kids, have a family".

There's a small photo of him with Paula and the caption: "Torregiani and Abdul remain friends".

Oh my. I seriously hope not. This is not good at all.

This J. T. is connected with Mike Malin (Boogie) who won Big Brother All Stars and Lonnie Moore who was on Millionaire Matchmaker. Mike Boogie was disgusting to watch on Big Brother and rape charges was filed against Lonnie Moore just last year.

All these guys are connected through Dolce Group which operates bars, clubs and restaurants that include Geisha House, Dolce Enoteca, Ketchup, Les Deux, and Bella Cucina Italiana.

Please, please, please, NO.

I think Jeremy would be a stellar choice as BACH 13. They already have D on record as saying he's the PERFECT man. They just need to find girls that are women enough to handle the perfect man. He'd have the built-in audience and ability to carry the show and could handle the ultimate being thrown under the bus. I wonder what his true career goals are and how appearing as the BACH would feed into that? Does he really want to go into entertainment law perhaps?

What do I know? , BUT I would think that they would go for a guy who could honestly say that he wants to settle down and get married with a STRAIGHT face. I would think Jeremy would be a much better candidate. There are very few people I would watch since I know the show, but I would watch Jeremy. It's not that I think he's so perfect, I just think it might be interesting.

You know, with all the questionable activities related to this show, including rumors of participants being handed scripts and Fleiss pushing certain choices, I have continued to watch. But if it's J.T. Torregiani, I will not watch.

There's contrived, and then there's too contrived. He would make it too contrived. Way too contrived.

I am so disturbed to hear that J T may be the next bachelor. He hangs out with the wrong crowd and is overall a slimy person. I will not watch the next bachelor if it is him!! ewwwww gross!!!
