You're right. It will be another mismatched group that make you wionder waht the casting staff was thinking.

I hope the B13 episodes are more than an hour, because I think it's difficult to tell these stories in a timeframe below 90 minutes.
How about "Reactive TV" - "Take two for your look of, 'I can't believe she just did that.'"

or "Hummer TV" - "Huh? You want me to do what?"

or "Dummer TV" - "Wait! How do you want me to say that line, again?"

Now if they left in the behind scene prodding and the director and producers at work, that would make it TRUE Reality TV - How It All Goes Down!

I was thinking about this idea last night. I would love to see something like this happen; but, if they are already casting the girls and still playing ads for "nominate the next bachelor" then I doubt that they have the Bach cast yet. So I'm not so sure about it being carefully cast, unless they already have the guy and we just haven't heard about it yet.

My guess is that the guy is Jeremy, assuming he is let go this week of course.

I'm trying to work this out...10 days to the F4 - seriously?

First night 1 day
group date 1 day
individual date evening
group date 1 day
rc evening = 3 days

12
group dates 2 days
2 individual dates evenings or 1 day (?)
rc evening = 3 days (possibly 4)

9
group date 1 day
individual date evening
individual date 1 day/evening
rc evening = 3 days (Unless they travel which would add another day)

6
group date 1 day
individual date evening
individual date 1 day/evening
rc = 2 days (unless they travel which may add 2 days)

At F4 the possible number of days is 11 - which would jibe with the statement of 10 days to F4.

So, that's about 1 1/2 weeks from opening night to the F4 home visits which take another 5 to 6 days which leads to the F3 which takes appx 4 days which leads to the finale which could take another 4 days with travel. That leads to appx 3 1/2 to 4 weeks filming. Seriously? I thought filming usually took around 6 weeks.
It sounds like the next bachelor is going to require a lot of energy, and the ability to know what he wants very quickly.

I would be okay with that, though maybe I should apply to be on that show!? Though he might be a bit quiet/introverted (maybe that's not the best word to describe him) to carry the show himself. I'm not sure that him being the Bachelor is the best way for him to meet his future wife. Then again, this situation isn't ideal for most people.

Re: Bachelor 13 **SPOILERS**

I do believe Jeremy has moved on. Didn't his friend that was posting report that he told her "no way!" Besides, he is interviewing for a new job and it looks as though he may take a position with Allergan which is located in Irvine, CA. (though it is reported he would prefer to remain in Dallas.) I doubt a new employer would look kindly on his taking a vacation within a couple of months of starting his work with them.

I hadn't heard that, but thanks for passing it along. I'm glad that he's going well.

I think Jeremy would be very forthright on the show, classy, and show a lot of personality. I really like everything the show allowed us to see about him.

But I also think he would be willing to do the show based upon information I heard.

So, maybe you should apply now and then if the bachelor isn't Jeremy, back out.

Another thought I had regarding recycling of a bachelor from DeAnna's season is that it is too soon. Well, maybe not - Blob's was the show after Trista - but that shows what can happen when a fan favorite gets thrown into the lead. We (IMO) have lucked out with the recycled bachelorettes. Yes, even Jen. At least in the beginning. She brought us Jerry and that was worth the pain.

TPTB are probably going to find another businessman/playboy or something/playboy - throw in some bimbos and some nice girls and let us have a go at a show with winners and losers depending on one's perspective. One thing, though, I hope they keep the same editing team in place - they have provided two entertaining shows in a row - even if I squinched at the Shayne show, at least it was entertaining.
