Interesting how Cristina Kinon of the NY Daily News inadvertently takes Matt's supposed In Touch quote out of context to give a different spin. She seems to do that quite a bit.

Matt and Shayne breaking up? Really? I never saw this coming. Who really believed they were ever together. All this happy, happy this week from mom and the ATFR talk. They're coming on to explain how they've both cashed in and are now cutting their losses since there are no more promotions to be had. So get thee to ebay to sell the ring, to In Touch to sell the heart rendering break up tale and let's call it quits for the Shatt show.

Actually, there is no reason to believe the two are breaking up any more than Matt seeking a green card or taking seriously that the two would marry last weekend in Vegas.

In Touch only suggested such with a huge question mark, quoting an unnamed supposed "insider" and NYD's Cristina Kinon's spin to the In Touch gossip piece discussed here can be best defined as hack.

I find it interesting that the rumors of a breakup(?) of Matt & Shanye from In Touch Magazine is not on Perez Hilton.com. Perez, is considered to be reliable.
