Matt looks amazing and really happy in the pics with Andy....Nascar, on May 31 there was a video of Shayne/Matt coming from a charity event and the reporter asked them when they were getting married Matt said next week in Vegas, I thought it was a joke but it has grown legs, like everything do on the Internet.......

Well, I am one of those cynics myself and the reason I haven't posted lately is I simply don't care enough about the two to keep checking in on them. If they went their separate ways I'm sure I'd see it in a People magazine blurb or maybe on the front page of msn.com.

Though this is my first post here, I posted frequently on another forum during the time the season aired.

Given the track record of this show, it floors me as to how vehement some people are that this couple is in it for the long haul. Naturally viewers are entitled to their own interpretations of body and spoken language and the way I've seen it from day one is there is a pungent odor of phoniness surrounding Matt and Shayne.

I don't see a couple in love, I see two people head over heels infatuated with sharing in basking in the limelight. Every time Shayne speaks I feel like I'm hearing a soap opera voiceover.

Lorenzo's tie in to the producer only solidified my opinions.

When these two split, don't count me in with the group that's colored surprised.

unclewallys, I tend to disagree.

Please understand, I am no Bachelor fanatic. I only caught two episodes midseason and the final episode that I found so enchanting that I spent an entire weekend watching the entire season of episodes back to back.

This is what I noticed.

After reestablishing footing during episode 2, Shayne did everything right where most others didn't --- or couldn't. She let herself fall in love, did her best to compartmentalize, keep her focus on Matt while most women in the house focused on the competition. Matt and Shayne appeared totally besotted by one another during their 1-1 time.

I also tend to believe that the only real competition for Matt's affection was Amanda, perhaps Noelle, had things played out differently, and Chelsea lasted as long as she did because she said she was falling in love. In the larger sense, none of this really mattered as he was already smittened by Shayne.

Nonetheless, IMO, Matt appreciated Chelsea but she had issues with public display of affection, something Matt made clear was important to him, and two other habits I found particularly annoying as the season progressed --- referring to herself in third person and her inability to look at him when talking about feelings --- signs of disconnect.

When watching Matt and Shayne together on the show I see a couple falling in love. Matt selecting Shayne makes sense.

I see the two well suited and eventually, sooner rather than later, I expect the two to marry.

Welcome to the FORT, although I must disagree with your opinions.

I understand the cynical viewpoint, as I too was suspicious of Shayne and Matt early on in the show. At some point, my opinions changed, as I really felt I was watching them genuinely fall in love.

Now, I have no idea if their relationship will stand the test of time. There are challenges that face every couple, and even if they don't last forever (I am hoping they do), that doesn't mean that they weren't in love.

I adore this couple and thank them for the enjoyment I get from their happiness.

SO, I came here looking to see if there was any truth to that but I still don't know. Seems like it would be publicized more.

No, they aren't getting married tomorrow. According to what I understand, it was just Matt joking.
