the most recent case in point was last night on Dancing with the Stars...

"so how does that work - she gets a diamond ring and you get a green card?"

Matt looked none to pleased with the comment - perhaps it hit too close to home

I didn't see the same reaction as you.

I enjoy Matt's humor. A lot of my relatives who were raised in the UK and France are the same. They aren't malicious or evil people. Maybe that's why I don't see it.

I know plenty of people from the UK and France who aren't malicious and evil too...
that has nothing to do with how I view Matt...

he laughed at Shayne a lot and said very disrespectful things about her...I would not be happy about anyone I know putting up with that in a relationship...

I would hope that the man I love would say more complimentary things about me than Matt does about Shayne...

Being that I am Canada and I grew up on CBC which had a lot of British Comedies on it, they do tend to have a bit more of a crass sense of humour, in general.

Was it "Whats for Dinner?" and then all the Monty Python.

Cape, that is an absolutely great example of why I do not like Matt's sense of humor any longer. He can dish it out, but he sure can't take it...

I wasn't implying that it did. Was just making a general comment.

What has Matt specifically said to turn some of you off? I didn't pay attention to this season until recently so, I've been less exposed to him.
