Posters are probably tired of my personal stories, but right before I started to date my husband, I was with another guy for about 5 years. I broke up with the one guy to date my husband, so there wasn't much time lapse in between. So, of course there were some feelings going on at the same time for both. When the ex-boyfriend would still approach me and talk about trying to reconcile, I had to shut off those feelings and remember that the guy was with (now my husband of 20 yrs), was the guy I really wanted to be with for many different reasons.

I didn't love Matt in the beginning because last season made me prejudiced against the Bachelor, but the more I saw of Matt and Shayne, the more I respected and yes, love them. His responses in this interview cause me to respect him even more.

My friend beautiful post and good comparison of what Matt is going thru to your real life situation.

I have even more respect for Matt now with this interview and I was laughing reading the you knows just like Amanda's likes were because of nerves I don't begrudge him being nervous either.

Absobloodylutely loved him turning the tables on that one reporter who brought up that rumor show won't say the name worried about infractions hitting me lol Matt is so right in England you're ass is grass if you say someone is a fraud why shouldn't he defend himself and he did so beautifully and cast away any doubts on the story wish he could sue the pants off of that rumor show lol but the lawyer that they have owning it fat chance.

Also loved his quick wit and not changing who he is good for him.

I can't wait for tuesdays conference call.

I enjoyed reading your comments too. I think the problem is you originally quoted my comments on the article I quoted by jlccaz - WHEW! Too many quotes! But they are all insightful!

Now wait a minute ... Matt and his F1 are going to do a conference call together on Tuesday, and then on Wednesday appear on The Ellen Show? I thought that Matt was not going to be available during this time because of a family emergency back in England? Wasn't that the whole reason that there wasn't going to be an ATFR show? So if he is going to be here after all, then why are they not doing the show?

maybe one of the f3 that was rejected didnt want to do it. maybe that
is why they would either postpone it or not do it at all.

I'm no expert, but I have to believe that would be in their contract when they're cast for the show and not subject to them 'agreeing' after the fact. They would not leave that open-ended.
