| Re: Bachelor 12 Media Thread That link was damn funny. I haven't seen Monday nights show yet but I cannot believe that Matt dumped Amanda last week. From the first time I saw her I thought she was the girl he would pick, stunningly attractive and a nice person. I don't believe she offered enough of a challenge, hence why Chelsea is still in the game. The show has been heavily edited from the start in favour of Shayne. Has anyone looked at how much of the total series involves footage of her as is must be 80% at least, she is everywhere and makes the final show pretty obvious. Matt won't discuss who he has picked, this one is a genuine secret but I am interested to know how you all feel about him working his way through all the ladies on this series? |

There are so many threads here, but here's my take on the general feelings of the board: * A lot of posters thought from the beginning that Amanda was Matt's chosen one. So you weren't alone in your thinking. A fair amount though thought it would be Shayne, and fewer thought it would be Chelsea. * Everyone has their own opinions about Matt, but when he did not choose Amanda last week, the board in general became more negative towards him. Some were already skeptical of him, but some liked him and still do. Personally, I don't have a problem at all with the way Matt as you say "worked his way through all of the ladies". He seemed very sincere and even though he likes to kiss, it didn't bother me, I'm a big proponent of kissing!  I was sad for Amanda last week and I felt bad that he didn't have a real solid answer for her, but I've had a really similar break up in the past. One that the guy told me "you are perfect for me, everything I'm looking for but...there's just something missing". In the long run I can look back and say "thank god, he was so right", but at the time it just was confusing and upsetting. He was a good guy too, but sometimes there just aren't those easy answers. That's what it seems like Matt went through. | |

ABC will be having it's upfronts this week, so we'll find out if The Bachelor will be renewed. ABC will be making they're decision before DeAnna's season begins. A number of shows have hit series lows this past week. CSI, CSI:Miami, Grey's Anatomy, Deal or No Deal. House has dropped 50% of it's viewers since moving to Mondays. Something is happening across the board in network TV. It's not just The Bachelor.
